The thing with the bridge is, if you slowdown to approach the bridge, you'll loose lots of time on the two straights that come after, so if you want to make a good time, you have to approach the bridge as fast as you can, and land on the tarmac after the jump.
Yeah, that last chicane is weird too. I still end up in the trees sometimes.

I don't know if the game has a key for screenshots.
I'm using the free version of fraps for pics. It also captures video but the free edition is limited to 30 second videos i think.

Using Fraps as well. I can't seem to put all the pieces together for a single good time - 2:02 is my best so far. I am 2-3 seconds quicker than that in the first two sectors, but then crash on the big jump or the chicane immediately after it. :(
Side note - anyone else have any crazy sounds (sometimes) as they pass a crowd or a bridge? I'm guessing some of the sounds don't always work right. Maybe an issue with my sound card? I'm using an old SB Live! card to get good engine sounds in NASCAR 2003...

My best for now is 2.04, can't drop below it. Maybe I try change car's setup.

Well. I guess I'm a hopeless rally driver. I don't even want to say what my times are so far.
I need to learn a lot more before I stop being frustrated and really start enjoying this excellent game!

It's not so hard at all. Default setup for cars is best I think and finally J droped below 2.00:-).

I hope I have some time to try this before the deadline, I enjoy this game and this is a good motivation to pull out my wheel :)

This contest is pure evil.
I'm sitting on 2:21, and have had to give up (temporarily) because my driving has become progressively worse.
Great idea for a competition, though.

Damn it. I spent too much time playing Flatout and now I cant get used to CMR

My best time is 2:19.84.
I don't know how you guys are getting sub-2min times. I feel like I have hit a peak with my skills at the moment. And yeah, I did smash the car up some.

Practice makes perfect. Yesterday when I started playing I had aroun 2.20 too. After 10-15 hours practice my best is now 1.58.

Cheers, I honestly don't think I can do it any quicker, i'll definately be trying though :)
