so I bought the Ultima Compilation as a code. I already have half of the ultima games and decided to give the other half to a friend.


But when I give my friend the code (meaning for the other half of the games) he says he gets a message of "code already used"

but when I do it on myself, I still get the option to unlock the other games (though it's blanked out because I already own them)

soo... what can I do? :\

Don't you get a new code for the unredeemed games when you redeem a code? Check your gifts list again.

Contact support, they should sort it if it's gone odd. But also, if your friend used the code too quickly - within a few minutes of you redeeming your half - it might've come up with that message as the codes lock out for a couple of minutes after someone enters it, even if they don't redeem all (or any) of it.

^ This. The activation of GOG codes has a cooldown period after someone attempts to redeem or check a code. Tell your friend to wait five minutes and he'll get it. ;)

No, it's the same code, valid for all the unredeemed games in it.

He was pretty surprised, I didn't tell him I was going to give him ultimas 7-9 + the undeworld games :P
