Meh too many steps for a 30 sec trade :s Don't feel like trading anymore lol. Too many DRM on this thread :((
Besides, it would be kind of cool if we had a gog-only trading thread (or do we already?). Having to shift through endless lists of unwanted byproducts of Humble purchases (you know, Steam shit) to get to the good stuff gets grating.

Besides, once the galaxy is up, I'm pretty sure there will be an easier way to publically measure our co... I mean, display our gog collection.

While I agree that this may feel like a lot of work, frankly it is just common sense in the world in which we live in. Heck even AARP advertises about scammers these days. Consider it practicing "safe trading" ;-p

Then I won't trade here anymore. Me and hundreds of people have been trading stuff here on gog without any problem. It's too much here, I don't like to download extra scripts, set profile on public all the time and stuff like that :(

It's like always online DRM, punish people who are honest and the thieves will always find a way to scam people any way.

ONE simple rule would have been: IF you are new here, you go first. Simple and effective. Also Steam trading must be done through steam chat which is the case with all the trades I have done anyway.

EDIT: Think I'm gonna make a new trading thread....

Totally agree with that. I don't use greasemonkey or whatever ...the only browser addon i use is "Adblock Plus".

But remember, we are GOG. And we like cheap and unprotected. :)

Regarding the GOGWiki registration, it's not open to the public and many of the listed admins are no longer active. You have to contact TheJoe if you want to create an account there.
I guess gog cards are my only hope now. :(

Yup, not installing unnecessary stuff on my browser, or interested in putting my profiles to public.

We'll just need a wild, wild west trading thread, then ^^

Not doing this, what a hassle.

Well these were all things I discussed with ne_zavarj privately. So please give your solutions to cutting down on Anasto scamming this forum relentlessly... It's one thing to complain but realistic solutions are the only way we're going to solve the ongoing problem ;-)

Yeah, that's some bullshit there. The Classifieds thread is used by lots of people, and it's 1000s of pages long, so as far as OP is concerned, she barely has ownership of it. Also given that OP barely uses it.

At the very least, that thread should be left open to whoever wants to use it- we're adults, we can discern pros/cons ourselves.

My trading thread with updated rules so everyone can trade like they used to but with some extra rules.

Actually, a lot of our problems would be solved if Galaxy had steam-like trading window. Maybe even a way to trade keys with that? Would be so cool.
