I edited it.......also to clarify further I guess I meant over-excessive micromanagement sims aren't fun by any stretch of the imagination.
Kind of like how boring EVE: Online can get with it's myriad of windows making it more a financial space sim than a space action MMO.
(Disclaimer: I like some sims, but when it becomes more like work instead of a game then it kinda loses it's appeal to me and I don't see how anyone could like that sort of thing. Not trying to say those who do are stupid for liking such just that I can't see the appeal in it. Sorry if I cam off too harshly before.)

Cleidophoros: Your idea of fun or imagination is not universal. We all have different tastes, ideas; we listen to different music, read different books, eat different food. Kind of like how boring EVE: Online can get with it's myriad of windows making it more a financial space sim than a space action MMO.

You not seeing how anyone could have fun with any given thing doesn't mean noone can have fun with that.
(As an aside: And also yes, we all have different tastes, but there are some things I think we can agree are universally true for most people. Like some things most consider morally wrong or bland/boring/etc. Just a thought.)
Anyways this is getting offtopic to the extreme.....if you want to continue this go to my offtopic thread and we'll continue if you feel like it: HERE
Or we could also continue in Lackloo's offtopic thread HERE

GameRager: Read my last reply. I never said that people couldn't have fun with such. I said that I couldn't see the appeal in such, and that to me such things seemed boring.

There is no universal moral if that's what you are suggesting. "universally true for most people" is such an open ended definiton; how many out of 7 billion counts as most?
