Opening before you amazing worlds to explore--and save!

The Longest Journey and Dreamfall, two chapters in one of the most enchanting stories ever told in adventure games, are available bundled together 70% off. That's $7.48 for the complete set of two for the next 24 hours! Games also available separately, 60% off.

One of the most memorable and cherished titles in the history of adventure gaming is [url=http://www.gog.com/game/the_longest_journey]The Longest Journey, a magical story of two very different worlds, that seem to be doomed to collide. April Ryan, a young arts student, unwillingly drawn into an interdimensional intrigue, is the only person who can make a difference. What she doesn't know embarking on her quest, is that there's much more than meets the eye to each of the worlds, and that they're not as far apart as the first impression suggests. The phenomenal story had to wait six long years for continuation, but it finally arrived in the form of Dreamfall: The Longest Journey, a gorgeous and powerful vision that just begs to be visited. With more action-oriented gameplay and a full 3D environment, the sequel explores and expands the story of its predecessor to create a satisfying and enthralling experience, worthy of its legacy.

If you're looking for some brave new lands to visit, lands that will amaze you and fill you with awe, you can't go wrong with The Longest Journey and Dreamfall, for only $7.48 on GOG.com. The 70% off bundle offer is available until Tuesday, March 11, at 10:59AM GMT. The games are also available separately with 60% off discount. Titles you already own on GOG.com count towards the higher discount rate.
So tempting! I've been hoping to try out both of these games for a while, but I haven't yet played the Syberia duo that I purchased a little while ago. I'm trying to stick to my principles and not keep buying games while my backlog stacks up. 70% sounds so tempting though... and these two are actually more interesting to me, so if I got them now I'd probably go through them first, and leave Syberia for later.

I guess the responsible thing would be to resist this one today, and hope that it goes on sale again at some point in the future. And then go play the game I've already spent money on.

Nice, I own every title in this promo.

Cheers
Among the best adventures ever made - well worth it for anyone interested.
Another deal of games that I already got!

And I couldn't seem to figure out how to get past the first part in the first game. Only helps to solidify I don't really like point&click adventures...
Nice, I own all the games of the promo :)

Still got to play them though... before they release the next installment in the series.
It's always amazing how there always seems to be a large group of people that have not grabbed the goodies yet.
For what its worth the third kickstarted one will probably be at least 30 bucks + very expensive.
Own TLJ, will pick Dreamfall at a certain point as well - just not today.

There must be a very huge lag in the space-time-continuum where you live, right? ;)
[concerning "from Germany"]

HAHAHAA you're right! I (based in Germany) got the day off from work today so I incidentally wrote "sunday" :D :D
That considered... guess you're right somehow :D
Until I gotta get up tomorrow again :D

Shambhala: Are the stories related?
Is there a preferred order in which they should be played?

stinusmeret: They are related and you should play TLJ before Dreamfall to fully understand the story of Dreamfall.

Both are great games and I personally can't wait for Dreamfall Chapters!
Thanks :)
