I'm using Chrome while browsing the site, and I noticed every now and then the page will forget I'm a beta user, hence I have to go through the process of entering in the beta access key again. Is this a server side issue unrelated to Chrome or a Chrome issue?

this worries me, as i am reading this thread in chrome. i've not had this problem yet, but i'll keep an eye open for it.

Hmm, maybe your browser automatically clears your cookie files (on quit or after some time)? As the cookies store the information on your beta / early access, removing them would cause the effect exactly as you've described.

I guess it's a Chrome bug and not a problem with GOG then... the cookies seem to be set to expire in a year after all.

Did you use incognito windows? I'm browsing GoG on chrome and had no issues with staying logged in even though I've had some IP changes due to my PC being a laptop hooked to different wifi networks at any given time ;)

Been using chrome since getting set up yesterday, and have not had an issue either.

Nope. I'm assuming this is a fairly isolated Chrome bug. But in any case, if I can reproduce it at will, I'll file a report (not here).
