I have a spare code for arcanum. random person who posted in this thread will get it (unless you don't want it)

what I ask of you:

I have quite big of a game backlog. Not really enormous but still. Therefore I need titles of seven games, one day for one game to check out and play as much as I can from 1st to sixth of January. Not to complete, just to see what they are. And maybe fell in love and play it till finish starting from seventh of January.

I had never played any of those games:
Here goes the list

Icewinds Dale games
NWN1
Temple of Elemental Evil
DnD Dragonshard
Lionheart
Psychonauts
Interstate 76
Outcast
Giants Citizen Kabuot
King's Bounty Legend
Call to Power 2
Perimeter
JA: Deadly Games
Empire Earth
Myst
Another World
Martian Memorandum Means Streets
Machinarium
Blackwell games
Resonance
Kingpin
Freespace 2

and my steam games:
http://steamcommunity.com/id/lukaszthegreat/games?tab=all

(Assasin Creed, Metro 2033, Chronicles of Riddick won't work on my computer
Played: Dreamfall, Vice City, Sim City 4, Sin 1, TF1, TLJ, X2, Deus Ex 1, max payne 2, Red Orchestra, Every half life out there, Portal 1)

whoevers list i choose also gets +5 rep.
will decide on 27th of Dec. (unless nobody is interested)

This question / problem has been solved by Lerouximage
Thanks for Arcanum!
By the way,I suggest to play shortest game first, so:

Another World
Resonance
Blackwell games
Psychonauts
Outcast

(I tell you only five because Blackwell games are not a single title)

I'm confused. You want seven games not on that list or pick seven from that list? It's 4 am here, cut me some slack.

Thank you, for both the answer and for your patience with my defective though process.
hmmmmmm. Took a quick look and this is what I humbly suggest

-Psychonauts, awesome action platformer

-Machinarium, beautiful, relatively quick adventure game

-Resonance, Great story, not too long

-Arsenal of Democracy, IIRC its a better version of Hearts of Iron 2 which you own

-Company of Heroes, great RTS with some base building

-Deus Ex, tis a classic

-X2: The threat. looks interesting if a little much for just a day to test it out

Icewinds Dale games -- love the cold wintery setting... I suspect I have a fetish for it :(
NWN1 -- play the user made mods
Temple of Elemental Evil
Machinarium
Blackwell games
Resonance

+ Sacrifice :P -- Great fun, so different.
I am going to suggest going with the games that you can (if not finish) at least get a good way into and get a good feel for with limted time. IE: I will NOT put NWN on here. It's a great game, but one day will hardly be enough time to get through the opening options menu. So...

Interstate 76 - looks good/very fast/A++ for style (if you dig bell bottoms, afros, and big ass gold medallions).
Kingpin - actually not the best FPS ever (not close to be honest) but if you like Quentin T movies it will give you a nice fast over the counter thrill.
Empire Earth- VERY long BUT very easy to pick up for a RTS. The tutorial is fast and the learning curve is not nearly so steep as other RTS games.
Freespace 2 - why waste time working your way up from skirmishes to big battles. By mission 2 or 3 your ass is going against big mother ships that don't even entirely fit on the screen. And Robert Loggia is the man!
Gianrs:CK - fast, fun, WEIRD AS ALL HELL.
Freedom Force - hands down the most underated game around in terms of style. Anyone who ever loved watching the old Batman TV show with Adam West needs this game.
Penumbra Overture - pretty short and basic (it's an indy) but VERY unique and VERY creepy so long as you don't play it on a sunny afternoon with the lights on and the easy listening station playing on the radio in the background.

Whoever you chose on this thread will serve you well. Unless your an idiot and you try to play Myst. I'm an idiot and I tried to play Myst. I ended up suffering an aneurysm. Woke up 3 days later in the hospital convinced I was Marie Antoinette.

davosseaworth749: -Deus Ex,

-Sim city 4,
I played both (and completed DE1) edited first post to mention it

JaqFrost: + Sacrifice :P -- Great fun, so different.
hehe. I know. Have it. Almost beat it at one point.

tinyE: Penumbra Overture
I did play it. bored me really. I don't really find anything scary these days (in media such as movies, books, games). jump scares... yes, but they are just annoying.
managed to kill the dog, blew up a passage... not sure how far it was into the game but it felt like adventure game with slow walking protagonist.
also stupidity of main character (dropping in the middle of arctic, no equipment, old broken flashlight?) couldn't treat him seriously sans why the whole plot kinda felt meh.

I will try to play it again. not this time tough

Not in (as I usually choose the next game to play based in my mood at the moment), but thanks and +1 for your generosity, lukaszthegreat!

Also, a little promotion in the Giveaways' Directory:

Awesome!
Would love to enter for arcanum

My list:
myst
perimeter
machinarium
resonance
Icewind Dale
NWN1
Psychonauts

Problem with the Icewind Dale and NWN games is that they suck up a lot of time though.
My recomendations:
Myst - A classic in every way
Outcast - an awesome game (might make you skip any other game to finish it first)
Another World - an awesome platformer and one of the best 2D platformers for PC
Resonance - An great new Point-and-click game
nwn1 - an classic Forgotten Realms RPG, especially with the add-on packs included, I do recommend using the The Community Expansion Pack as it adds a lot more "fun" to the game
Mirrors Edge: - it's a bit short but is a lot of fun
Temple of Elemental Evil - a nice mix of different genres

Thanx for arcanum

This is a reply to "I will try to play it again" My reply got screwed up. Anyway...

Actually don't bother. If you didn't dig it to that point then I'm not going to lie and tell you it gets better. The funny thing is, I'm a horror film junkie, and I've become so densensitized I was shocked that I found it creepy.

I'll offer up Company of Heroes in it's stead with a warning that it can be kind of hard, at least it was for me. NOT impossible mind you, just a little tricky especially if you skip the tutorial which I don't recommend but some people do anyway.

Freedom Force
Portal 2
Psyxhonauts.
