CD Projekt Red’s New RPG: Cyberpunk

I hope it will be equal to The Witcher

Nice. If there's one thing the gaming world needs, it's RPGs that aren't high fantasy.

Well, I hope it will be better. I'm not exactly a fan of the Witcher, although I don't say that's a bad game.
Can't wait for this. I am a sucker for cyberpunk and CDP!

I know you dig them.

Sorry, can't resist :-D
:D

Seriously, this could and should, no, MUST, turn out to be a great game.
Lack of cyberpunk material is disturbing.
I actually like this choice for their next game. Very few good rpg games with a scifi/cyberpunk theme...
I suppose the obvious question is, will they again sell the finished game via gog again? :)

Did I just see "CD Project Red", "New RPG" and "Cyberpunk" in the same title?
The fact that it's an adaptation of a PnP role-playing system (like Shadowrun) gives me hope. Hopefully this means we will get turn-based combat, or at least pause-based, or "lock-in" combat like the Infinity Engine games. I'll lose interest if it's just another ARPG like Witcher.

I'd be shocked if they did that, though pleasantly surprised.
Looking forward to this a rpg not of elves and dwarfs sweet. Cant wait to see more on this and i wonder what year it will be released.
I've used all my bandwidth for the month and my internet is too slow to look around... what's the release window for this? 2013? Also does anyone know if CDPR has two teams, or is this taking the place of Witcher 3 for now?

More on topic: awesome news, love Cyberpunk, OMG, etc.

I think so, as this new was given yesterday in the summer conference :)

In the conference the guy speaking heavily accented English whose jokes all fell flat said they had two teams and that the Cyberpunk team is comprised at least partly of former Witcher 2 devs.

I just hope they learn how to optimize the code. Other than that, it looks cool.
