Hesusio: Nice. If there's one thing the gaming world needs, it's RPGs that aren't high fantasy.
This. That particular setting never appealed to me. Now, as for this cyberpunk thing...

But 2015? Might as well forget about it.

Cleidophoros: :D

Seriously, this could and should, no, MUST, turn out to be a great game.
Lack of cyberpunk material is disturbing.
Cyberpunk, and steam punk as well, fell out of favor almost before they even began to over saturate it, very odd as events usually go.

I love steampunk, though. But, I loved steampunk before it was a "thing." I also love cyberpunk, so I guess I'm gonna hafta upgrade my old rig in the meantime. :3
Please CD-Project! I've been aching for a new sci-fi REAL RPG since... forever. If the Witchers are any measure then this might be it!

To those who know the setting, how fantastic is it? I like my sci-fi to be hard!

Imagine if Star Wars and Star Trek had a baby, and that kid grew up. It would turn out nothing like Cyberpunk. Blade Runner would come along and kick that kids ass on it's way to track down The Matrix. Why would Blade Runner be going around beating up Main Stream SciFi? It is trying to impress Cyberpunk!

The Cyberpunk world is a treacherous one filled with the ultra rich and the ultra corrupt. Power comes from control of money or drugs, or from cybernetic implants or the barrel of a gun. Become a Solo and live the life of a high paid mercenary, after all those enhanced reflexes and optical targeting implants don't come cheap. Live the life of money and power as a Corp (short for corporate) and make deals that put credits in your account at the expense of bankrupting others, be them people, companies or nations. Just be careful because with great power comes great enemies, you might want to get that forearm holster implant that can eject a loaded pistol right into your ready hand. Or you can become a Fixer, the guy who knows how to get things, anythings, done. No job is to big, as long as the money is there. There are also Techies, Netrunners, Nomads and Rockerboys. And what kind of future would it be without some form a law enforcment, the really brave, or foolish, can become a Cop. It's a tough job but if you play by the rules you just might get by , don't play by the rules and you might go far. This isn't your geeky take your own phaser to comicon brand of scifi - This is Cyberpunk
