At least it isn't some fucked-up mix of shit, crap, waste and "casual elements" to prise the twerps behind a screen like most games nowadays (Diablo, who said Diablo III?!?), so it's all good news for gaming....
I love cyberpunk, so colour me interested.

And it is nice to see an old pen & paper RPG licence getting used. Not only do they tend to have well built worlds, but if they use the rule system, it often offers a more tactical experience than most modern CRPGs.

StingingVelvet: I've used all my bandwidth for the month and my internet is too slow to look around... what's the release window for this? 2013? Also does anyone know if CDPR has two teams, or is this taking the place of Witcher 3 for now?

More on topic: awesome news, love Cyberpunk, OMG, etc.
Maybe this will give you a hint: http://cdpred.com.
Look on the "open positions" section, there are 2 projects listed :)
I am very excited about this news. I'm setting aside $50 right now so that I have no excuse for not getting it when it comes out.

Does anyone know if they have setup any type of developers blog somewhere where we can see what they are doing and offer fan feedback?
It should be noted that "Cyberpunk" need not necessarily mean Matrix-style trenchcoats and shades. Nor need there be a large portion of the game involving 'VR-interface' hacking. You can take the 'Mechs out of BattleTech and still have a decent 'Cyberpunk' environment. Even some of the stories and characters and environs of WH40K might pass for 'Cyberpunk' (ref: Snowdog, Nightcrawlers, Tarsis Ultra's 'The Stank').

Sigh, when will companies start hiring very opinionated people that don't know squat about game design (nor have artistic ability) and allow them to VPN to the office from home? :(

They reused scenes that are already in TW2. They just switched Geralt's model with Dandelion's model, so it wasn't expensive at all.
