I don't like RPGs very much but I have to admit that I am jealous of Witcher's 2 production values, after sales support, amount of goodies etc.

So please CD Projekt RED make an adventure game with the above characteristics!

Unfortunately adventure games are not as profitable as RPGs or shooters, so I don't really see my wish coming true.

They need to make a Witcher Enhanced, moving forward, without the consolitus of Witcher 2.

i'd be all over a Witcher point-and-click adventure, tbh. similar to what Satinav's Ketten (Satinav's Chains?) is going to be, which is based on The Dark Eye role-playing universe.

Well... Witcher 1 is like 30% combat, 70% talking, you could approach it as a point and click adventure with poor combat elements on easiest difficulty levels :D Witcher 2's combat is a bit more demanding...

Witcher is a funny game, they must have spent a fortune making the environments of the game look so detailed, and for all that voice acting, but the combat system is utterly ugly and uninspired, I mean I think the Infinity Engine beats it...

I mean one minute you can be running around the woods looking at these nice environments, and then comes a wolf, and this ugly red circle appears and all of a sudden it's a button-crashing PS3 game

A while back there was that silly video that they made about the bard from the Witcher games having his own game that was a bit of a parody of modern day gaming.

It seems that would have made an awesome point and click adventure game though.

That's right, make a Witcher spin off game where you play as the bard dude in a point and click game!

You people are killing me with this consolitus stuff.

Usually my rpg games are kinda adventure games.
..and that wolf thing in witcher 1, the first boss beat me up some time. I still think that was the hardest. Also in W2 or in the first they really should make a bar fights in some boxing simulator. =) also where you could use a broken bottle or a chair.
So not a clean fight.

I downloaded flight from amazon queen from dotemu for free and doesn't seem to be half bad and now pretty much I'm waiting for Secret files 3, also never ending story with that longest journey continuum also many more. Well not so many but point and-click, nothing wrong with those.
