Huh, I assumed it was going to just be called Cyberpunk. Anyway, sounds cool. Also, literally unbeatable price? Does that mean free? Or 1 cent? Because any other price can be beaten. Sadly, 6 pm GMT is 1 pm EST, so I'll be in class. Wish it was on a weekend. :/
Bringing the games to a new OS. Linux support maybe? Interesting.
If anything, I really hope that it is not like the previous one.

Looking forward to the Cyperpunk related stuff, not so much about GOG.

I prefer a more positive approach so I'll just say: awesome! Can't wait to see what they do with the genre.
It's always fun to see what news they bring with these conferences, but since i've been active on these forums (March 2012) there has been maybe 2-3 of them already this year. Wouldn't it be more grand to do one in the summer and one in the winter.

Or even just a once a year thing?
Linux! Linux! Linux! Linux! Linux! Linux! Linux! Linux! Linux! Linux!

Sadly, not to be, I think. Would be huuuuuge to play Witcher 2 again natively on Linux and have the RedKIT. SWEEET.
I was hoping for some special old releases, but that's not what quite what I'm seeing in the announcement. :-/ (Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.)

Well, the request for Linux versions has over 5,000 votes, whereas Mac request only has a little over 1,000 votes.

INB4 SYSTEM SHOCK 2 AND GRIM FANDANGO AND BALDUR'S GATE ENHANCED!!!
(normally I want rainbow six 3)

I would be surprised if GOG revives old MMORPGs like Ultima Online and Everquest 1 with GOG supported servers :)
I hope the new OS announcement doesn't relate to mac. That will hurt my wallet.

I've already voted on that wishlist. But I think the chances of it happening is 0%.

Yeah but I suspect most Mac gamers don't come onto a Windows-only site whereas anybody who games in Linux is pretty much used to porting over or dual-booting into Windows. Therefore the current population of Mac users is smaller than Linux users. That means releasing for the Mac is better since it has a chance of creating more new customers. :P

My guess is the new OS GOG will support is Mac OS X if nothing else because CDPR has been porting The Witcher franchise over. That makes me happy - but Linux users should be happy too. I would argue that if GOG and CDPR are starting to support multi-platform games, then the future where they also support Linux gets that much closer.

Yeah but it's a good kind of hurt :)

Hard to say. This part...
they will also be showcasing several new releases as well as giving gamers a unique chance to get some of the greatest classic games ever made for a literally unbeatable price
...might mean a sale price on classics already here or it could mean an announcement of a new batch of classic games with a discounted promo price.
