And grown up themed, you've been warned.

http://www.catherinethegame.com or if you can't stand that website the Amazon link is way less annoying: http://www.amazon.com/Catherine-Xbox-360/dp/B004P6IVPQ/ref=pd_ys_qtk_general_recs_18

Anyone know anything about this? There's a lot of rave reviews from people playing the import, it looks pretty crazy, but I'm curious if the horror element lives up to the hype. If it's mostly manga/anime T&A then I'm not so interested.

Anyone know?
Looks... odd. And interesting.
I have always loved Atluses games. Sometimes they are quirky but fun at the same time. I already pre-ordered my copy and waiting patiently for its release ^_^

Also to answer your question orcishgamer, Catherine is an erotic horror, puzzle-platformer, adventure game. If you want to see some gameplay of it, head over to gametrailers.

Invisible walls takes a look at Catherine.

That looks pretty good. I never played any of the Persona games, but heard they were really good, maybe this is worth a pre-order. Now, it sounds like it was originally PS3 in Japan, is the XBox 360 version going to suck or be just as good?

I am not sure. Hopefully it is just as good. Lets just hope that no underage kids get there hands on it XD
Didn't Atlus make a couple really awful Bomberman games? And that "randomly generated dungeon" game featuring a ninja girl?
Persona 3 is great, but I really don't know about what I'm seeing for this game. The presentation/plot look great, but the actual gameplay doesn't seem like something I'm interested in.

Hudson made Bomberman... It's possible Atlus published one in the USA though. There are two entities, Atlus (a Japanese developer) and Atlus USA who localise and publish games in the USA (not just Atlus games).

Oh, and the ninja girl game you speak of sounds like Izuna which was published in the US by Atlus but developed by Success.

It was Bomberman Land Touch that Atlus USA published. I know well that Hudson is the developer of the B-Man. Bomberman Land was good, so it must have been another publisher that made the bad DS games.

{EDIT}
I take that back. It was a company called "Rising Star Games". The game was called "Bomberman Story DS".

Again, RSG are just a publisher... Hudson is still responsible for the horror that was Bomberman Story DS (I had a go on it, glad I didn't buy it). =D

I found two htmls so far....kat.html and cat.html. I wonder if those are the only two one can find upon answering the questions given at site load. :\
Atlus is the greatest publisher/developer I have ever seen. The USA branch caters only to it's small group of fans, they focus on only the fans. The Persona team that made Catherine is also my favorite. They literally have the best director of budget I have ever seen. This game looks to be amazing, with some cool depth and style. The main theme on love, marriage and relationships is awesome. However, the platforming Qbert gameplay is what I care about the least. Kinda funny, but I really want this game. Too bad my parents will have a spasm about the game cover. :P

I love Atlus and can recommend any of they're games simply because you wont get these kind of games anywhere else. And I wont even try to explain them but you can be sure that the story, characters will be awesome.
I live in Eu so I can't order it at the moment. But as soon as I can, I will.
Why do people even care about this game?

I would understand if it were some sort of horror/survival/adventure through dreams and surreal worlds but no - everything that I have seen so far indicates that this is a boring block puzzle pulling Q*bert game with hot chicks and tits with OMG SO DEEP themes about love/marriage
