Maybe this topic is already discussed in other post, I dont know, but after buying so many things here I think we all need to have more "space" and options to put some "order" in our virtual collections.

Something as easy as the actual system, but letting us to add more categories and divide the games between them.

I think everyone here would apreciate something like this.

You are doing a great job GOG

Thanks!

Too many things in the wishlist, frankly speaking.

Don't say anyting bad about gog! you will get down repped like, super amount.

"Gog is doing everything well, gog's 'browse games' is super good and we don't need more sorting options nor do we need the 'sort by dev/publisher' to work all the time cause refreshing the page usually fixes that problem.
Gog has a good forum. Nothing needs to be added/subtracted or fixed, don't waste time here, put your employees time towards increasing your userbase!
Gog has more then enough social features, they use twitter and facebook aswell as a youtube channel. We don't need the ability to quickly share our wishlists and game librarys with friends or relatives... cause making it easy to gift won't = more sales."

Which, I hope, means it fills its function, at least to some extent, and shouldn't be completely dismissed.

Ignoring it means the forum gets filled up with too many wish threads instead, which is hardly better.
I still wonder if there actually is a relation between the wishlist and the development of GOG. I am truly sympathetic with GOG but some things just seem to desperately demand an update. My collection is still moderate by comparison I guess. so that is not that much of an issue to me, but why the search function of the forum practically useless for example, is beyond me.

I wish that would be truth, but even if I love this portal/sales platform from the very beginning, I think the other two persons in this thread point some things that should be checked. So I have NO complaints, but recommendations or wishes.

I know It´s not easy to implement many of these things, they need time, money, and work... all these things are limited. But if GOG want to grow more, or just have a long life, they need to do it. This could be done in a slow pace, people here is not as demanding as STEAM fans, we are all a more mature audience mostly. Doing this, even if not in a super fast or super fancy way, will make us gog customers a bit more happy, and for sure attract new people.

I am an evangelist to this place, I try to push my friends to buy some games here and not in other platforms like STEAM, but it´s not easy when people like so many small features there. I am not talking to transform GOG into a "STEAM like" that´s impossible and definitively is not what I am searching for, im fact I will hate it. But some small easy to do features should start to be implemented.

That´s all. And IMHO the wishlisht is not the best place to do this. Or at least I prefer to find a channel with more visibility to express my opinion. We also do marketing for our personal opinions, right?

Of course, and I am not trying to dissuade discussion. Sorry if it seemed that way.

It's just that I think the best place to say "I want this" is the wishlist (because it's likely much more easily queried and counted), while the forum is (in my opinion) better suited for "what do you think about this?" and I interpreted the opening post as closer to the former.

I never want, well I want but I dont use to "demand" to things or persons I like, and I repeat I like this website so much, so I allways suggest. I think the wishlist is full of impossibles with no debate, and not visibility, like "I wish the Lucasarts games" yeah sure... so easy... yeah I WISH would happen... but is not a realistic thing...

Suggest, or demand, small realistic changes on the website and the community is something much more easy than the 99% of the wishlist. Also and more important, here we can debate it too, because this idea is on the wishlist since beginning of 2012 if not before. To put an example, I dont think I would not choose to also use "Facebook" to express my opinions because we have "Twitter" as the trending thing for that.

My two cents

PD: And if someone say me "That´s impossible, our server actually cannot handle it, maybe in the future" is much better than have some "possit" in a wishlist wall. Anyway I understand not all the people is as "gentle" to understand things like this, or patient.

As a workaround, you could manually sort your games for now. Then you can put them in any order you want.

Yes, I do this actually :)
Rumor has it that GOG peeps are reprogramming the entire site with tons of new features that will be released in the near future. I bet there will be some sorting.
