Mack just released the Doom 3 source code! Yay!

The modding community's rather quiet now, but as a Thief fan, The Dark Mod really excites me and I can't wait to see bug and performance fixes from them, as well as TDM going standalone. It's about time we see something really nice from the community there.

I was going to post this last night but was foiled by the 504s.

It's not quite complete as it's missing the code for the Carmack reverse, but that should take too long for somebody to get around.

hedwards: It's not quite complete as it's missing the code for the Carmack reverse,
Really? The news I've read said that Carmack just altered the code so that it wouldn't infringe on Creative's patent - apparently a change which just added four lines of code and changed two.

EDIT: Then again, maybe those lines of code were enough to change out the Carmack reverse for a different shadowing method. /shrugs
