I go to download any file from any site, all HTML and none torrents, and it sits there and acts like it's loading. Nothing happens.
This is my dad's computer, and he's superstitious and paranoid about anybody using his computer. Maybe he's blocked all HTML downloading or something. Help?

Try with a different browser. If that doesn't work, turn the AV and the firewall off.
