And I can't stand liquorice! I can't even be in the same room with people eating it. I rather smell raw sewage.

iippo: Liquorice and salmiac are very different. Ofcourse there are also alot of different sort of liquorice and salmiac. They may all look "same black stuff", but the looks are very deceptive :)

what i mean, is that there are also several sort of salmiac (and naturally liquorice), which all look same black stuff like all salmiac - but taste very different. There is huge difference between how hard, soft, salty etc. I really like some salmiac's while others are not so good at all.

Noobs ofcourse cant tell difference ;)

I'm a big fanatic with jellybellies these days. Someone gifted me one of those 2kg jars, and it took barely over a week to finish it (to be fair, I shared some).

My favorite candy is Tyrkisk Peber salmiakki, or Turkin Pippurit/Turkish Peppers, no doubt about it. I could eat them every day. At first they might not be suitable for your pansy American ass that's mostly accustomed to chocolate and marshmallows, but give 'em a try and eventually there's no going back. http://www.dutchsweets.com/images/DSC_0393.jpg (Btw, I based my assumption 'bout the pansy ass [don't take it too seriously] on multiple YT videos I've watched in which Americans taste this candy...come on, it's not THAT tough to eat)

I'm also a big fan of Werther's Original, a buttery hard candy. I've always loved everything that tastes like toffee and these are the best there is to satisfy that particular craving. http://www.uniquereviews.com/images/werthers-original-big.jpg

I got what you meant. I'm however still used to just calling it liquorice in general. And pfft, it is easy to tell the difference between them. Such noobs indeed. :p
