Oh I love their stuff! I've tried a lot of great candies but their regular snacks are impressive too, like the Swedish gingersnaps. Yum!

FoxySage: Yeah, it's similar. Although in my experience finnish liquorice is more sweet than danish, but i suppose that could just be the particular brand that i had here.

The liqourice ice cream sounds delicious btw. Would love to try that at some point.
Just to be precise, there are both "liquorice ice cream" and "salmiac ice cream" here, and they are not quite the same (liquorice and salmiac (aka "salted liquorice"?). I don't care that much for the liquorice ice cream (and liquorice overall... but it's not that bad either). I was specifically referring to salmiac ice cream.

As far as chocolate goes there's a company called Jososphans Fine Chocolates and I've yet to try one I haven't loved :) But one of my favorites of theirs would have to be the Saffron and honey and the lemon chocolate.

I can't do Liquorice at all, blegh. lol. I am a fan of Almond Joys. Best candy in the world. Chocolatey coconut goodness!
