I was looking for this game on the Steam sale but I don't know its name. All I can do is describe it and hope someone knows it.

It came out this year, I believe it was a 2D single-screen action game (from what I remember from the pictures), you played as a wizard cast down from his tower fighting enemies on the way down (or was it back up?). I think graphics were done in pixel art, which were very good in fact, at first glance it reminded me of old Castlevania games.

That's all I can remember really. I never played it after all, just saw it once when it came out and it occurred to me this sale was a good time to play it.
