Hey, so I want to buy Deponia bundle, but I already have first one on steam. Is it possible to buy that bundle, keep 2nd and 3rd episodes for myself, and gift the first one to someone from gog community? Or is it either all 3 as a gift or all 3 for myself.
You can give out codes you get from bundles, yes. Unless the code is the same for all the games.

I don't think there are humble bundles like that anymore since they've officially supported gifting.
Its not from third party bundle, I'm talking about this: http://www.gog.com/promo/summer_deponia_trilogy_bundle_280614
I want to buy it, and I want to know if I'll be able to give away first one.

According to other fellows, no. All the games get registered into your account.

You can't. Your purchase will add all 3 games to your account.

If you already had Deponia 1 on GOG, then yes, the purchase would add 2 and 3 to your account and keep 1 as a gift, but it's not the case.

Too bad. Well, maybe it will get on sale in steam. Just don't feeling like buying same thing again(im ok with that if I can give it away for someone, but not like this). Thanks for very fast reply :)

Actually, if you own a game here at GOG and purchase the bundle then the owned game gets removed from your purchase and you can complete the bundle at the 80% discount.

Edit: Made it explicit that I was talking about games owned here.

Ah nevermind then:)
He owns it on Steam and not here though, do they do it for that too?

No, of course not.

I was answering to GabiMoro that if you own part of the bundle here in GOG and click purchase then GOG does not generate a gift for the owned games but removes it from the purchase instead.

Looks like stupid system, but maybe that's just me.

Right now it would be better for you to buy all 3 games on GOG as it is CHEAPER than to buy just 2 of them.
It's 80% off only if you buy all 3 of them.
So 2 games at $7.99 each is $15.98.
3 games at $3.99 each is $11.97.

edit: Duh. Missed the pont. Yes, unfortunately you can only gift the entire basket.
So it's either all for you, or for a gift.
And you cant just get 2 games out of 3, as you lose the 80% discount.
Not really convinient, but if you can get the 2 games you wanted for $12 instead of $16 it's not a problem

And why exactly is it a stupid system? If you buy a bundle on Steam, but have one of the games here or on some other platform outside Steam, do you get a separate key for that one game?

At least on GOG, if you already own one or more games in a bundle, you don't have to buy them again as part of the bundle.

I actually never bought a bundle on steam so I have no idea how it's there. But I just hating being forced to pay for something I don't need. For example I never bought a single game that was cross-buy with ps3-ps vita. You pay once and get that game for both consoles. But I have just ps3. If that price includes that game for BOTH consoles, I wont buy it because I have to pay the same price even though I'll get it just for one console. Same here, if I pay money for all 3 games, even though I need just two, I want to be able to do whatever I want with that game I don't need. I'm ok with giving it for free to random guy, but I'm not ok with paying for it money and be forced to activate on my own account, even though I dont need it. Shouldn't I be able to do whatever I want with a game I payed money for? But maybe that's just me.
