It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

I bought Empire Earth and Colonization a while ago and recently bought a new laptop so wanted to re-download the game onto my new laptop. When I click to download the installation in just says "Forbidden" for both games.

Has anyone else had this or know of a way round it?

Thanks

Curious and curiouser. Never heard of that before. You might want to contact support. Also, will it not let you download through either direct link or GOG's downloader?

Lastly, answering the actual OP title question: You should most definitely be able to download any game you've bought here as many times as you want or need.

That is odd but I wouldn't worry, GOG will solve this. My HD recently melted and when I got my new one I was worried about this but there was no problem and all the Blues were there to assure me if there was a problem they would help me with it.
Definitely contact support - I have had no issue re-downloading games I have purchased multiple times.
This should not be happening. There should be no problems with your ability to redownload
Yeah definitely contact support, everygame GOG sells should be DRM free.

DRM free has nothing to do with infinite downloads, but GOG does provide both things.

Like the others said, there should not be any problem re-downloading games.

Are you perhaps trying to download from work? The company firewall might not allow that.
Even if you're home, I'm still leaning to some kind of security setting or software that won't allow you to download certain types of files.

With 99.9% certainty you can will be able to (re)download all games you've purchased as many times you want as long as GOG exist even in case a game is pulled from catalog. If you at any point have a problem downloading it's most likely problem in your end (browser, downloader, wlan, virus protection, virus, permissions, firewall), GOG's end (servers, accounts) or somewhere between (DNS servers, someone or something damaged network somewhere, internet provider).

In case problem with downloading occurs, things you can try:
Browser or different browser
GOG downloader
Log out and log back in
Try to download something else to see if it affects only specific file or all/more than one
If possible, download using another computer (files are DRM free so you can transfer the installer where you want it and install there even if computer you're installing to does not have internet connection. GOG also has no regional restrictions so you should be able to download anywhere in the world as long as there's internet connection unless country you're downloading from is blocking/cencoring GOG.)

If none of above work, chack game specific forum if anyone else is having same problem and then general discussion. If noone else is having problems, it's better to contact support so they'll look for problem in their end.

Edit: I can download Empire Earth using Firefox. Can't check colonization. There's currently another person from US having issues downloading different titles here altought the symptoms are different.
