Does anybody else remember this game? Bullfrog Games, circa 1995. I would truly love to be able to play this again. They came out with a truly crappy thing called Hospital Tycoon a couple of years ago, which I ran out to buy thinking it would be an even better version of Theme Hospital, but it was godawful.

Okay, okay! I searched the site for a wishlist. Looked for some clue as to where to post this, but did not see it. Seriously, shouldn't there be a sticky or even better a tab next to Community, Support, etc? I just joined last night so forgive me - please! :}

Okay, I just found it under 'Welcome Please Read'. The ONE place I didn't look!

So... what exactly brought you here ? Some Witcher-related news ?
I GOGified my Theme Hospital. If anyone here owns it but can't get it working on their current computer I could help them out.
Isn't there an open source port/clone called Open Hospital ??? It's supposed to play like the original.

It also works well under DOSBox.

Yeah, I used DOSBox but I did it in the GOG style (self contained with a desktop shortcut running DOSBox with a specific configuration file). =D

Don't know about Open Hospital, but there's a project called Corsix TH which requires the TH or TH demo files to work. Runs quite well on my vista machine.
Hi and welcome to the forums. Unfortunately it's a Bullfrog game and they're pretty much in purgatory at the moment. The rights are very complicated, though I'm not sure if that's only for sequels or the originals too. EA's not on GOG yet and if they were I would think that most of the stuff released on here would be the same stuff they've released on other services already (such as steam.) Initially at least.

No, I am not a big fan of the Witcher, although it has its charms: good story, interesting characters - the combat became boring for me. I'm old school enough to prefer the Baldur's Gate pause, select action, unpause style of combat to the click mouse when sword-lights-up style. Just MHO.

I actually had no idea this site existed and have many old, beloved games sitting on my shelf that (I think) I can't run on my Vista machine. So, I was googling Vista-compatibility, printing off articles on how to get Baldur's Gate and Neverwinter Nights to play on my machine and somehow found a link to this site. I feel like Christmas has arrived.

My problem is that although I'm not completely computer illiterate (I knew my Windows 3.1 PC inside and out!), I am really hesitant to try a lot of tricky things on my Vista computer because it is really touchy and has a tendency to 'fail at startup' for no discernable reason every so often. I am willing to pay 6 or 10 bucks for a reliable, Vista-safe version of my old favorites without blinking.

Thanks for asking!

Eyeball226 - yes, I still have the game, although it may be on floppies (and me with no floppy drive!) - I can't remember. Anyway, since apparently it may never make it to GOG, I would certainly appreciate any help you can give. Thanks!

A good site to turn to for compatibility help would be something like http://vogons.zetafleet.com
Also my win 3.1 would blow up regularly but it was quite quick to recreate it with dos
