GOG seriously need to time their deals better. The end of the month is perfect if they want me to spend money on games instead of other stuff. At the start of the month my paycheck is usually only a happy memory.
You should manage you money better. I get payed when month changes and usually still have enough left from previous to pay rent and put little to savings account.

Well I save every month, right after I have paid my bills. No use waiting until the end of the month when I get my next paycheck because I don't have the self discipline to not use them before. I work hard and I've found that buying a little more expensive food or drink, maybe a book, a extra magazine, a music CD or just about anything that can be described as "Not really needed but nice" is a silver lining on a day and is worth much.
Withdrawing from my saving account because GOG release a new game is out of the question. I need that money if my car need repairs or anything else expensive like that happens.

You could also try the different things people do to give away games/codes/money etc :)
I don't think moving from weekly deals to monthly deals would be beneficial to GOG, personally.

Well Ive got an Age of Wonders code still up there for the taking :P (at most it might take an hour to figure out but for a game that will last 10 ^*3 hours or more :P )

I guess that's true.
It would be fun to know which campaigns sell the most. Those that have a great value or those that are right after most members get their paycheck.
Edit: Work darn forum code!
