Has anyone played this yet?

I've seen people play this and I have to admit that it looks pretty damn cool so far, how does it compare to Bound in Blood? I love the artstyle and graphics too

Also: vote for the game here

Bump, come on people, nobody played this?
The game doesn't unlock for 3 more hours in the US.

Not played it myself, but a friend told he liked it too. So it might be worth a try. I am not into FPS, so I will pass.

If you like it try GUN too, GUN was really the first western game i played. It became reasonably popular in the run up to rdr being released and its a good game overall.

I can say easily it is best fps game of 2013 so far for me - I did not expected this, but it is really pleasure to play it.
Of course, it is very arcadey, simple, linear and so... but when it comes to shooting, they did it just perfect!
Highly recommended!

And there is demo on Steam, so you can try it, before you spend that few dollars they are asking for it :D

I have played the game. So far, really good. It's like Outlaws.

PS
The game is really hard though. I die every 2 minutes while playing. You can only afford to get shot like 5 or 6 times on the lowest difficulty setting.

Considering the fact that I don't see any good FPS'es coming out in 2013 I doubt that's an accomplishment but still, that's nice to hear

What was your favorite thing about it?

There are some quite good fps games out now, like Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, Metro: Last Light or Bioshock Infinite,
but all things there are just right, nothing super stunning...
But when playing Gunslinger you have some special feeling, it is hard to describe...
Is it that "instant action" when you have to in few minutes kill 50+ cowboys? Or is it that nervousity when your reloading is not fast enough? Or is it that super soothing feeling when you shoot somebody with shotgun directly into face? :D
And there is quite funny story too... it is like very good interactive B western movie... Try the demo, you will see :D

But one thing is totally wrong in Gunslinger - it is not available on GOG! :D
Slight necro.

Anyone got anything else to add to this topic, I'm considering buying it after reinstalling GUN last night

Haven't played it myself yet but from what I've heard it's the best one in the series, despite being just a "small" digital release.

Well, the game is fucking awesome, for starters. The gunplay is very arcade-y and very fun, I once killed a man by ricocheting a bullet off of a boulder completely by accident.

What makes the game beyond that is the personality, a lot of which lies in the narration. The game does have its dramatic moments here and there but, unlike some other ultra grim games, it intersperses that with genuinely funny moments.

It's one of my favorite games of the year, so much so that I finished it twice back to back and I almost never replay games.
I posted about it somewhere. I'm sure there were other threads on the game.

Anyway it's very good. It's linear but super fun with great combat, great visuals and the perfect length. If you like linear shooters at all you should get it.
Awesome thanks for the input folks
