Trailer just dropped.

One more heavily scripted, quasi motivational, save the day FPS shooter incoming. Let's just hope it makes a bit more sense than Black Ops #1.

I completely agree with Yatzee of escapist on this CoD thing.
To me, it looks like "let's just stick famous title on any random FPS and see sales figures skyrocketing". IMHO 1,2 & 4 were only good CoD-s. Everything after is just plain bad.

wait a minute Sgt. Woods is still alive? did he not die in black ops 1?

Elmofongo: wait a minute Sgt. Woods is still alive? did he not die in black ops 1?
Well, if they had a level 17 cleric in the party, he could have casted a level 9 True Resurrection spell on him.

That could explain a lot.

lol

Or, you could be tripping about his death, just like about that main villain that wasn't even there, what was his name again? Dragovich?

But the thing is that IMHO the campaigns are mediocre too. :/

The moment I recall being stoned to death with grenades in multiplayer makes me wanna puke...

well I just play the campaigns like i'm watching another episode of Band of Brothers
another one?this is starting to get worse than FIFA.
The problem I have is that COD has always been about realism, at least before Black Ops. Black Ops used it's timeline and "secret" nature of the storyline as an excuse to use weapons that weren't even around in the time period of the game. For example, why does a guy in China have a G11 prototype rifle?

This takes that and goes way further. Some of what I saw was just absurd for thinking it would be around in 2025. Maybe 2055 would have been more accurate.

This is always my gripe when something is based around realism then proceeds to make shit up. At least ArmA 3 was using prototypes that had working models developed. I don't know of any robots in the design phase.

I know man that is the reason why I did not like black ops and prefered battlefield bad company 2 vietnam
Doesn't look half bad. I wasn't into the last Black Ops though. MW2 and 3 were decent, but nothing has impressed me since 4.
