The new gameplay trailer for COD Black Ops has been released, and I hate to say it but it looks really awesome. Even more so than MW2. Dare I say Treyarch is on track to making a good game?
Can't wait.
No CoD: Prehistoric Warfare or Medieval Warfare? I'll pass then.
I thought the subtitle for this was gonna be Asian Warfare.

Looks like an early Christmas gift for my son and his PS3
MW2 was broken, and if Treyarch does what they did with WaW (reskinned MW) then no thanks.
I was expecting more from it, more of a story and not this uh, generic... Ah well. I'll wait to see what more they reveal.
LOL at the fire fidelity-quality, the crossbow and that hind maneuver; still it's an action game.
I really like that scene when the guys get blown up from above, missiles blazing (but it may a cutscene only, and the same for that scene with the wooden bridge getting blown).
Damn, in September already?
And we get MoH too around that time?
Sweet. But I do want some WW2-shooters again, with the quality of the original CoD / MoH, only on a modern technology platform. But I guess that won't happen now, since the kids don't wanna go back to firing fucking M1 Garands when they've tried futuristic plasma rifle facemelting multiplayer ridicule.

A quick WW2 fix, coming this year:

You Sir just made my day. And it's on the eastern front, Stalingrad no less! Awsum. +1.
Edit: I can't find a release date ... is this one of those it's done when it's done things?

Yeah, but the game has been in development for some time. Tripwire usually doesn't release too much information until the game is about to be released. It's weird and frustrating at times, but I guess they like doing that. But anyway, that game is going to be great. I've been playing Red Orchestra since 2006, it's a great experience.
Anyway, as for Black Ops, I find what information we have so far to be disappointing. For awhile I've been hoping for a Vietnam game in the essence of the first Call of Duty games, you know, "victory was not achieved by one man". It would have been cool to experience some of the fighting there from multiple perspectives like the U.S., Commonwealth, and French. I find this Special Forces crap to be getting pretty old.

Call of Deutoronomy: Ancient Warfare!
CoD: Amoeba Wars
Oh what a surprise, another 'gameplay trailer' that focuses entirely on scripted sequences with the occasional flashes of gameplay that might as well be stills for all the difference it would make. They did exactly the same with Modern Woeful 2.
Given the price fixing, price hiking, gimped PC version and ever decreasing content (that's not provided separately at a massive premium) of the COD series I'm finding this one about as interesting as Bernie Borington's Paint Drying Escapades.
"[Gravelly voice] This game is going to rock your world ... or is it? After all, everything you have been told is ... wrong."
Hmmm, I can see why ambiguous marketing techniques are not used more often.

I'm glad you liked it. ;)
As Yshinozuka said, yes they don't have a specific release date, yet.
And they are cool people, they already announced an expansion in partnership with its fans: [url=http://www.heroesofstalingrad.com/2010/05/18/tripwire-interactive-announces-%E2%80%9Crising-storm%E2%80%9D-expansion-for-red-orchestra-heroes-of-stalingrad/

The first teaser was cool, flashing scenes and all that.
But this actual trailer is crap, all the same footage and 80% is scripted sequences, I'm afraid those helicopter scenes will be all scripted (Hell, I had interest in piloting it...).
Treyarch already announced that yes it will have dedicated servers, and co-op for 2 to 4 players.
