Know any way I can purchase Steam games when I'm unable to get a credit card? Note we don't have to Green Dot or Green Spot or whatever they call them credit cards in Hong Kong. I find that people aren't trustworthy enough to buy a game for me on the Internets on Steam and gift it to me.
Also, 50 REP! WOOHOO!

Um, I'm 14. PayPal wouldn't let me use it.

Lie about your age then somewhere....not at the bank but at Paypal.
1) Get an older relative/friend to buy it for you.
2) Find some one trustworthy to gift it.
3) Wait a few years. (not a good option really)
I would not suggest you lie to the banks/paypal/steam. Depending on the laws of your country and Steam policy, unwanted things may happen, 14 or not.

See, this is why I pine for the day when Steam sells gift cards.

It's not gonna happen.
Whatever option you use (via legal guardian of age), do not use Click and Buy. There seems to be trouble with them actually paying Steam and that winds up with accounts getting disabled of the game removed and you losing money.
Don't buy Steam games. It's evil.
Buy off Impulse instead.

Impulse is indeed superior in many ways. If you can get the same game you want off of Impulse then you should deffinitey get it off there instead.

[sarcasm]Well that was useful.[/sarcasm]
His problem was not the distribution platform, but rather the payment method. He is still going to have that same issue on Impulse or any other platform he chooses to use. Ois already offered the only real viable solutions.

I prefer steam, I have many friends who also use steam and I like using the client all around. if I bought a game off of impulse, I'd be running steam in the background anyway.
Woo-hoo, Steam vs. Impulse!
can't you get a child credit card? It would be tied to your parent's account and you cannot make overdraft.
I got one debit/credit card at age 13. My mommy controlled how much I spent :)
just go to the bank and ask about children accounts and credit cards.
