Saw this being sold on Gamersgate and decided to check it out. Looks pretty cool, reminds me of a modern Sky Roads that's overdosed on steroids. It's also made by some company that I've never ever heard of, and it's apparently their first game. Regardless, maybe the trailer will interest some of you, as it did for me.

Watching now.....seems ok.
Sooo... The player is supposed to line up the character with the bonuses and avoid obstacles at high speed, yet the camera is hanging several metres off his shoulder?

Yeah that's my only gripe, and quite a big one too. It's one thing to have over-the-shoulder view, but it just doesn't cut it in this game. Begs the question "Why?!?!"

Still, might turn out to be moddable after all. I'll drop the developers a line and see how they respond.
That looks really boring....

And I played the hell out of Scoregasm and Really Big Sky!

It looks fine to me. :\

I dunno why though, but it does.

For a non-boring implementation you need more of that free Tasty Static. Or its now-freeware predecessors.

Hey there,

http://youtu.be/-euTwAvBkrY shows off the camera angles in our game, I hope it helps relieve any concerns. The game has quite a few camera angles to choose from by pressing 'K' in game; I personally use the directly behind the right shoulder view, for reference.

Thanks for your interest!

Excellent. Its status has now been raised from a "Wait and see" to a "Holiday treat" for me :)
