For the duration of the Steam Sale, and the next 27 hours, Dungeonbowl Complete is 50% off (£6.49)

We have a pretty successful Blood Bowl league going here.
If you fancy something slightly different, grab Dungeonbowl.

Most of the rules are the same, but you play in an underground maze.
You don't kick the ball off to start though.
The dungeon is studded with treasure chests.
The ball is hidden in one of them.
Can you find it first & score?
Or would you rather bash your opponents into rivers of lava, spiked pit traps, or other nasty surprises?

Wish you could have more than 1 big guy without playing stunties?
How about 4 hulking monsters on your team...

Sign up here if you have purchased, or are interested....

And get Dungeonbowl additionally, of course. ;-)
I've got me the Dungeonbowl game, and sure, I might be interested in some games, too...
I'm in, I will be soon at least...
This looks interesting... can someone explain this to me? And is it hard to pick up?

Thanks!

Well, I can try to explain it, but the basis of the game is as follows:

Blood Bowl is a game of fantasy football that takes place in the Warhammer 40K universe with many different races. You choose a race to play as, construct your team and take to the pitch in a game where tactical movement and strategy is just as important as the rolls of the dice.

Dungeonbowl is a variant of this game that takes place in a dungeon. Rather than playing a team with one race, teams can be made of 3 races with limits of how many of each race you're allowed on the team. This dungeon houses the ball in one of six chests: the other 5 are rigged with explosives. The dungeon is also fraught with peril, including spike pits, lava gutters and even sinister creatures waiting to take you out of the dungeon and straight to your grave. The first team to find the ball and score wins the game.

As for how easy it is to pick up, patience dictates that quite a bit. Both games (but I'll speak more from Blood Bowl experience as I've played it a lot more and I'm presently in our GOG league) can really sink their fangs into you, and the game is as rewarding as it is punishing, too. If you have the patience to sit down and learn the systems, it can be one of the most enjoyable games out there. The difficulty curve is steep, but you'll catch on soon enough.

Also, if you're interested in Blood Bowl, it's on sale on Steam for $10-$15, based on the edition you pick up.

Thanks for the explanation! It seems that there are two variants of the same type of game on steam... which one do you recommend? Are they both active?

Thanks again!

Both are active as they utilize the same platform. Players in one game can play others from the other.

So, say you buy Legendary Edition. I have Chaos Edition, but we can still play against each other since they are all on the same platform with GameCenter.

The main difference between Legendary and Chaos Edition is the inclusion of a new game mode and 3 new races to play as in Chaos Edition.
I now have a stable of 5 brand new teams, if people want an introduction to madness....
I just decided to buy and...
"Sorry
The Steam Store is experiencing some heavy load right now. Please try again later."
So now that the sale is over, who grabbed this?
I did! :-D

Piranjade: I did! :-D
I was hoping someone would've gifted me it... they didn't
I was then going to... but forgot ><
If anyone wants a practice / training match, I'm free to kick off for the next hour....
