All games on Steam, $5 for:

Section 8
The First Templar: Steam Special Edition
Legendary
Dream Pinball 3D
Disciples III
Insecticide Part 1
Tropico Trilogy
Imperium Romanum: Gold Edition
SpaceChem
Dino D-Day

Warning: Some of these may not actually be "indie" games.

As for me, another mix of games I have, mediocre games I don't have, and good games of genres which I don't like.
I want The First Templar, but there're too many bundle repeats in this one that I already have.. just wish they'd stop repeating stuff from Groupees/Indie Gala.

From your lips, spoderman ;-)
Tempting because of First Templar and Section 8. I'll have to think it over.
Heh, my sentiments, exactly! Probably not worth it for just The First Templar, and that's idle curiosity at best :(
It is not that bad in terms of repeats, compared to some other recent bundles. The First Templar, Dream Pindall, Disciples 3, Tropico 1 & 2 & Imperium Romanum are all games that have not been in any "main" bundles thus far (Tropico 1 & 2 have been in a gala weekly & disciples 3 was in one of those gala store mini-bundles)

Unlike Gala, Royale & Humble, Stars have never said anything about being indie. They have had indie bundles in the past, but those have been marked as "indie" in some way. Also, Stars is associated with Focus Multimedia.

I'll probably just wait until Groupees or Indie Gala feature The First Templar in one of their bundles.. its bound to happen at one point.

Asbeau: Atomic INDIE Bundle
Argh, reading fail from my side :( For some reason my mind just said to me that it was called "Atomic bundle", probably due to non-indies.

I think Focus Home Interactive keep throwing out their stuff through Groupees, Indie Gala and this (BundleStars actually *belongs* to FHI if I recall?) because the games just don't sell otherwise, and I'd expect more of the minor publishers to jump on this bandwagon in the coming future (TopWare already have, as have Paradox, 1C and Strategy First).

In fact, it wouldn't surprise me if EA, Activision and Ubisoft jumped on the bundle bandwagon soon. I bet the Mass Effect 2 thing in Indie Gala recently was their way of "testing the waters".

Still, €4.59 for all that isn't a bad deal, even despite the Steam-only nature of it, and I'd be tempted if I didn't already have everything there, most of it DRM-free. The only real turkey there is Dino D-Day, which is basically a glorified Half-Life 2 mod and can be left well alone without any regrets.

Does First Templar still have that annoying, intrusive, ridiculous additional third-party login screen that won't let you play until you register another account with the devs? On top of Steam itself?
Not a bad deal for some good some not so good games.

It did, but I recall reading about another Kalypso game that the login can be skipped by simply having no connection to the login server (i.e. disconnecting your internet). Not sure if this can be applied to First Templar as well.

I shall check for you.

Or just ninja it!

Spoder-sense tingling?

Tis confirmed. You can run First Templar without an internet connection, either by pulling the proverbial plug or denying access through your firewall. Once it has no internet, all it will do is ask you for the serial that Steam provides you with. You don't need to log in or create an account.
