Andanzas: What are some good indie RPGs that could be included? Besides Driftmoon and the Spiderweb ones, I can't think of any right now.
What are The Real Texas and Inquisitor like? I've got them both in my backlog...

Stooner: Din's Curse.
Pretty please? ;p
avatar
Crosmando: Also the Cryptic Comet games.
This would make me a very happy person.

They both have their fanbase but I found them rather odd. Inquisitor is supposed to be a RPG with mature story and dialogues but it comes with a sloppy English translation and lots of modern cursing, IIRC. It's mechanics are those of an Action RPG, but the walking speed is really slow and fighting a single opponent is tough and tedious already. The Real Texas feels like a children's game for adults, with lots of silly dialogues that I found lacking in humor though (or maybe I'm the one lacking humor, dunno). From what I've seen it's more akin to an action adventure than a RPG. Not to speak of the simplistic graphics and clunky controls, which I could live with if the game had anything worthwhile to offer to me instead. Not that it's bad, but I didn't think it was very interesting either. It's probably unfair to compare the two, but I found Driftmoon a lot more charming.

Anyway, that's just my personal experience and opinion, I'm sure someone will counterbalance it by coming to the games' defense soon. ;)

Bring on the RPG Maker-created games!

I agree with Leroux about Inquisitor. I thought I would love that game because of the original setting and unusual main character, but it is too clunky to be really enjoyable. Mind you, I haven't played it enough and it's a game that deserves a second look. But with so many games and so little time, I am not sure if I will get around to it. In any case, the first impression wasn't good.

I haven't played The Real Texas. Doesn't look like my kind of game.
After looking at some hints on BiaB FB, I was able to find 2 games which will probably be in this bundle - clicky
I'm still waiting for "Shadows On The Vatican, Act II" from the bundle "Eclectic Delights"... :(
Man, I bought that bundle just for that game... -_- (although, Eversion was fun for a while :P)

Originally, it was going to be released on December 2012, then the developers said it was going to be on January, and then February... and then nothing. They stopped answering any question about anything since then. According to their last post, "Act II" was already finished in Italian, so the least thing they could do was to add English subtitles to released it...
I'm kind of sad of how Bundle In A Box handle the whole situation. Not even a comment about it, they just looked the other way and totally forgot about it. Probably, that was the last bundle I will ever buy from them :(

That REALLY REALLY sucks!
The bundle will be live tomorrow. Bundle In a Box has recently posted this tweet:

"Provided the winds of magic blow kindly, the Indie RPG Bundle shall be live tomorrow on http://bundle-in-a-box.com/ featuring over a dozen RPGs!"
Over a dozen? So what, the Geneforge Saga, Avernum Saga. That's not far off 12 right there.

Or some RPG Maker series.

^^ Probably this... ^^
Think of any RPG that's already been bundled, and it's a good candidate for BIAB.

So maybe Doom & Destiny, QuestRun, 3079, 3089, Aldorlea's Millennium / Dreamscape / Laxius Force, etc.

That's 12 exactly (counting Avernum 1 remake). Add NetherGate and/or Avadon and you'll have "over a dozen".
