spoderman: I wonder how this is going to affect keys for games that are on greenlight, and later get greenlit? I personally don't mind not getting BOTH Desura and Steam keys, but I do mind it if we don't get Steam keys after a game has been greenlit.

jamyskis: I'm glad you personally enjoy what Bundle Stars has to offer, but it doesn't change the fact that there is little to indicate that it is particularly successful. Aside from the SimBin racing games that seem to pop up here repeatedly, most of the titles in these bundles appeal neither to indie gamers, nor to the mainstream gamer that lapped up the Humble Origin and Humble THQ bundles. More or less all of the non-indie games that appear in Bundle Stars are notable for being commercial failures, and with a few exceptions (the aforementioned SimBin games, Blades of Time, Supreme Rule 2020) are almost universally poor quality.

Most of these games are titles that ended up in bargain bins within weeks in retail stores because nobody was interested.

nijuu: I actually tend to agree with you, most of their games are Steam only and the games dont really inspire me to spend on their site

Psyringe: That's a rather weak bundle.

- Puddle is supposedly a good game, but only a Steam key is included. DRM-free versions of the game exist, but not in this bundle.
- Fjong and Dr Bulbaceous are small filler games
- The A.Typical RPG is a terrible, completely linear game with juvenile humor that doesn't even work properly (I ran into showstopping bugs both times I tried to play it), it was also thrown away for just a few cents in several occasions this year
- Reversion has been bundled to death and was available for a dollar already
- Dead Hungry Diner is a repeat from two recent bundles, and one at least gave a Steam key _and_ a DRM-free download, this one only gives a Desura key
- Paradigm Shift is a repeat from a Groupees bundle

The experience is also marred by:
- Need to register before making a purchase
- Problems with the registering process (I get a website error, I also now get two copies of all mails from BundleBandits)
- Unclear Payment/Donation structure
- Lots of spelling errors everywhere, looks hacked together rather than a professional presentation

Not a good start for Bundle Bandits. The other bundle site that started recently (Flying Bundle) had a much better start with better games, more unique offers, less technical problems, a more professional look, clearer payment information, and a new idea (the "used" marker for keys).

BundleBandits: Profesionals are working on this website now, they have made many website with webshops and payment settings. I believe it will just turn out fine once they are done.
