Kocoro: I really want to play, but can't for the life of me find Theme Hospital anywhere...
And knowing EA, that's not likely to change any time soon.

Although ill probably get 'the business' for mentioning it, Theme hospital, Theme Park and a couple other Bullfrog games are available on the EU/AU Playstation Network if you have a PSP or PS3.

Blackudder: I would love to be able to play Magic Carpet again. I was able to get the video to play, but no sound. The video was so fast, it was impossible to play.

Yeah, I loved Magic Carpet when it came out for DOS. But since I don't have access to my old 486 these days, I went out and found an old copy for the PlayStation on eBay. Even though the graphics have aged, it's still a lot of fun to play.
Magic Carpet is one game I'd love to see updated to today's graphic standards... as long as they keep things the same and don't do an "Archon Ultra" on the game.
P.S. I just looked at eBay, and there are a bunch for sale there right now, but many are outrageously priced. If you go to the link below though, and scroll down a bit, there's one for $11.99. Anyway, just a heads-up if you're interested, and have a PS.

Well, I'm kinda hopping to catch syndicate, syndicate wars and popolous, around here sometime. :)
Syndicate FTW! Great company ruined by the great evil of today., thanks a smegging bunch.
I never really played the syndicate, but I did get to play the demo recently.. on my psp... which i sold..
but it was really fun for a demo.
I'll add to the mob and wave my pitchfork in the general direction of EA!
I used to own a large amount of Bullfrog games, and it saddens me that they have been pretty much left to rot.
EA does have quite the history for doing this, unfortunately. Many other favourites of mine, including games by Origin and Looking Glass are similarly doomed, and if GOG can get them, I'd happily buy them all over again in support.
Bullfrog would be a major addition to the selection. I would have to buy all their games :l
EA owns way too many good old games. They really have a huge library with some of the best games ever made, just because they bought almost every great DEV there was in the 90s.
Yeah, good luck in getting Electronic Assholes to sell games on GOG. "DRM free? No, I think we'll insist that all our old games come with SecuROM7!"

Thanks! I only have the pS2/PS3, but I'll see if it works on the PS2. As for using Dosbox, I did that, but never could get the sound to work. Has anybody?
Is it just Magic Carpet you're having trouble with or can you not get sound in any game under DOSBox?
Also: I would most certainly buy Syndicate with American Revolt (I always said the Americans are revolting), Syndicate Wars, Populous, Populous 2 and Powermonger with the WW1 expansion

Well, lucky me. I've only tried magic carpet and since the implication was that sound worked, I googled it and found a copy. So I went and tried it out. Works pretty good. It's taken a bit of playing around to get the gameplay smooth, but it's playing and sounding great!
Of course, i'd still take an updated copy so I didn't have to fuss with dosbox.
The original Theme Park was the best. None of the sequels were anywhere near as good.
The best software house ever IMO, would love to see their titles on GOG!
Theme Hospital also was awesome.
