QC: I'll go with EVGA.

I'll wait till after I possibly win to decide what I'd like as I'm still not totally clear on the value of the prize.
Soz Bulletstorm is on sale atm. Value is at 5 USD. So, that's our limit per winner.

I add other games to broaden the pool for perspective winners so they can have a chance to win other games in case they own the primary game/s of the giveaway. It's still one game per winner, but it gives the entrants more options.

I think I'll make a decision afterwords anyway. I'm on here about two dozen times a day so I won't miss anything.
Cool np. Thanks for entering!
One more vote for the EVGA 560 Ti!
Thanks for the giveaway, the_bard!

I'd go for the EVGA 01G-P3-1561-AR GeForce GTX 560 Ti FPB.
I've never had any issues with Nvidia cards, and the GTX560 Ti is a cool-running card that offers a good price/performance ratio.

dirtyharry50: There is another benefit to Radeon in my experience. The Infinity engine games work perfectly with them. Nvidia is known to have some issues with display on some of those.
I can confirm that Baldur's Gate (with software mirror BLT on), Baldur's Gate 2, Baldur's Gate Tutu and Icewind Dale all work without any display issues on my GTX460.
The CD version of Planescape Torment required a bit of fixing to run correctly, don't know how well the GOG version works.

If I win the giveaway, I'd like Bulletstorm please :)
More giveaway music:

Hex
EVGA 01G-P3-1561-AR GeForce GTX 560 Ti FPB (Fermi)

I've always been an nVidia person. Also, I have never heard anything bad about EVGA.

Personally, I have an EVGA GTX 570 (the next card up from the one you've picked).

Bulletstorm.

It doesn't seem like everyone has been as fortunate with Nvidia and Infinity engine games according to this post from the Nvidia forums.

http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showtopic=61293&st=20&p=1240449&fromsearch=1&#entry1240449

Doing a Google search using this string: Nvidia Infinity Engine turns up a laundry list of posts, etc. too.

I know I saw it firsthand trying to run BG1 and Torment in the past and my next card after that was a Radeon because of it. That was what swung me towards Radeon. So I figured it was worth mentioning. In fairness though, that was an older card and I'm sure driver as well than the one you are mentioning. Maybe it is better now.
From your list, I'd go with the nVidia one, EVGA 01G-P3-1561-AR GeForce GTX 560 Ti FPB (Fermi), but perhaps I am just biased 'cause I am getting tired with ATI cards, although I have heard that SAPPHIRE 100315L Radeon HD 6850 is good. But anyway, if I have money I'd go with nVidia cards.

I don't know how much is Bulletstorm, but among the GOG weekend promo games I guess I'll go with Arcanum. Had the CD actually, but never played it in all these years.

EDIT: Ah, I see you offer Betrayal at Krondor as well, then I'll take either that or Arcanum if I win.

Alright, well I would like to play my old games obviously. Can anyone confirm whether or not this GTX 560 Ti is gonna give me shit when I play my older games?

Well I can only tell you that in my experience it was a problem and the thread I linked for you backs that up as well as doing the Google search I suggested if you check that out. I also know the same games work perfect with my Radeon. I personally would not buy an Nvidia because of this myself.
I remember I played PS:T without a problem with my desktop, but that was Nvidia GF6600.

Yeah, was just reading. I have an 8800 GTS mentioned in the thread. And yes, it kicks up shit with Planescape. My last Radeon was the late great ATI Radeon X1600 Pro.

Time is running out for entries...

Alright, I just tried something. Fired up Planescape and it's running flawlessly with the 8800 GTS atm from what I can tell. So, maybe when I ran it with it in the past there was something else going on. Like a driver issue or something. I don't know, but it's looking good now.

Minutes left for entries btw. If anyone else wants in now is the time.

Planescape seems to be the least compatible of all the Infinity Engine games.
In-game, some of the issues can be fixed by enabling Software Mirroring and Software Transparency.

Everything else should be fixable by installing the following in order:

bigg's Infinity Engine widescreen mod
Ghostdog's PS:T UI mod
Planescape: Torment Fixpack
Planescape: Torment Unfinished Business
Quinn's Planescape: Torment Tweaks
Nvidia Fix

Edit: see you have it working already - I'll leave this list here just in case you encounter issues later on.
