That's more like a "Build a Steam library" bundle. Not trying to hate, it's great for those who like having their games on Steam, but other customers hardly get a choice here.

EDIT: And to be fair, the choice for Steam fans isn't that great either. Ideally, with such a "Build a Bundle", you should be able to concentrate on choosing the games you're most interested in, without having to think about the way they are delivered (half dependent on third party service, other half dependent on another, or DRM-free but not on Steam). Why not find games that can be offered under the same conditions, all with both Steam and Desura/DRM-free download?

Hmm, perhaps Robin Hood, Fantasy Wars, Velvet Assassin
A stealth 2D game rooted in Arabian culture? Qasir Al-Wasat certainly looks the most interesting out of these games.
I'm also eying Vitrum, but need to read up on it some more.
Unfortunately, I've heard Fantasy Wars has horrible time (or, rather, turn) limits. The same for it's "sequel", Elven Legacy. That turns me right off.

At this price, though, I may think about Velvet Assassin and Men of War.

Psyringe: Also, this barely qualifies as an Indie bundle any more.
good thing they don't call it an indie bundle then....

I feel the same way overall. When I see a bundle that is just all or almost all steam keys I don't give it a second glance most of the time. Desura I am fine with since the games can be ran independently if you want.

I will get this one for Qasir Al-Wasat. With the minimum being 2 games I can find something else to put with it.

If nothing else I can get another copy of Zombies and give it away :P

You have a point. :)

Although I think that Groupees are sailing on the Indie bundle popularity wave nonetheless (and probably deliberately).
Is there actually a Bundle - besides the HIB - that makes all the games it offers available DRM-free?

Because most of the time, when I look at a bundle, there are too many games that require Steam for me to be interested.

All the games in the Greenlight bundles were DRM free I think.

Indie Royale is a bit hit and miss. Sometimes all the games are on Desura, making them DRM free. Sometimes there are a steam only game or two in there.
If you guys really want DRM-free downloads from Groupees, you should be talking to the Groupees admins. I asked Shifty if they could add a DRM-free download for Cryostasis in their last bundle, and it got added later on. Groupees does care about what we want, you just have to talk to them directly. Discussing it here doesn't do much good.

Personally, I prefer Steam in combination with DRM-free which is why I like Indie Royale.. most of their games come with Steam and Desura keys (although there are some games that aren't on Desura).
Hmm, I think Robin Hood recently came out on Desura. Pity it's a Steam key.

Bundle in a Box, Indie Buskers, the last Indie Facekick, about 70% of the Indie Royale bundles (conservative estimate), most IndieFort bundles, GameDev Bundle, the last Greenlight bundle, Summer Batch bundle ...
Kinda meh, Qasir Al-Wasat is the only game I'm interested in, unless they add a non-Steam option to Robin Hood or Velvet Assassin.

Guess I could grab Zombies since I didn't pick it up when it was on IGS, it does seem like they expect most people to go for it with all the extras.
6 out of 9 game I don't have - This definitely makes up for the past four or so bundles.
Seems to be up...sort of...
