Mac games were added to GOG.com quite a very long time ago now, at least several years and when the platform was added to the catalogue it was indeed "New". That was several years ago now although I don't remember exactly when it was but I think it's safe to say by any reasonable standard that the Mac platform has been a standard platform now for a significant amount of time to move it well beyond being "New". ;o)
Time for someone to update the GOG navigation pulldown menus and remove the "New" from Mac perhaps? ;oP
I just get a laugh out of it every time I see it and wondered if anyone else got a chuckle out of that or wondered why it still says "New". Technically Windows 8.x support for games that have it is newer than Mac support for many games but there's no "New" beside Windows 8.x support. ;oP
Presumably it's either just a trivial oversight of low importance nobody ever bothered to update, or it is an intentional marketing ploy that is like a store overpricing products by 20% and then putting a red pricetag on them that has like $29.99 scratched out and $19.99 written as the discount price to give the illusion there is a huge discount when the real regular price is just $19.99 all along. ;o)
Anyhow, I just got a chuckle out of it and wondered if I was alone in thinking this. ;o)
Secondly, when Linux is added, will it say: Linux "Even Newer!" for 8 years? ;o)
