It might already have reached that, or very soon will. They have a Paypal option that Kickstarter for obvious reasons doesn't count, and a fair bit of money have been given that way too.

Damn, I pledged the $50 tier but those physical goodies are too tempting. I specially like the Templar pendant but I don't want to spend more money T_T

Judging by the Double FIne numbers I have to suspect all those physical goodies with such a low investment number is a bad idea.

Actually, Broken Sword will get the biggest amount of money of all adventure games after Double Fine kickstarter.

I also hope they have calculated it through and some money remains for the actual development. :)

I'm really happy that they will make a new adventure.

Not really relevant to what I said at all, is it? The point is physical goodies took up a MASSIVE chunk of Double Fine's haul, and this game has a much smaller pot to lose.
