The shininess has been changed for all the box art. No longer is it... sharp. See image.
Maybe we'll see changes to other parts of GOG?

Still sharp on Colin McRae 2005 and TOCA 3 though.

Now it just looks faded and washed-out. Quite frankly, I'd prefer no shine at all. I'd like to just enjoy the box art. Maybe a slight rounding of the edges to make it look more like a box, but nothing more than that.

Maybe they are going to implement those shelf cleaning features. The boxes do look a bit dusty now.

I believe the glare is still there, it's has a little gaussian blur added and the opacity has be reduced a bit.

Btw I r liking box shine, but too much bloom for me eyes! Also, will we be seeing dynamic soft shadows next?
