I'm not knocking the game, but why is it $59.99? You would think Steam could shave a few bucks off the price. My duaghter loves it, but i'm getting tired of paying full price for a download.

It's not 20 gigs. In fact, my unlocked Steam installed copy is 5.09 gigs. 2 gigs smaller than the GamersGate pre-load.

Got it from GreenManGaming few weeks back for $37.50, their existing discount and the 25% discount applied on top. They gave me a Steam key last week.

iainmet: Wife is getting me it for my PS3 or PC next week, I like the whole PC thing they have done this time and I am more interested in PC version. Thing is though, I have the first one on PS3 so thinking that will be best way forward possibly.

I need to see if there are any benefits from Borderlands 2 seeing a save from the first game, if there is sweet. If not then I guess it will be the PC version for me as I have more friends on Steam than I do on PSN.
I have the PC version, and the new game detected a previous save file from the first game on my computer and gave me a customization skin. Not sure if the same applies for consoles, though.

I only went off the system requirements Min 13 rec 20gb. And when it was pre loading i swear it said 20gb somewhere....now i know why it didnt show 20gb space taken up (after i deliberately had to clear 20gb hd space in case lol). thanks :)
