20 GB of hard drive space... geez. I wasn't going to buy it anyway, but that might have sealed the deal. Still had like 30 minutes for the pre-order bonuses:)

I won't officially get access until October 27th... but that's not going to stop me playing it earlier if I get the time to. After all, the publisher already has my money, I'm not letting them hold my game hostage.

A good PC version, finally!

Had it preordered off GMG for a month or two now. 20GB - yes holycow :/...

Comes out Friday for me too. I preordered the Xbox 360 version a few days ago and I'm really excited. I played through Borderlands 1 and all of it's DLCs (except the Mad Moxxi one because that was bad) with a few friends.

I'm looking forward to doing that again with Borderlands 2. My work day is really going to drag on Friday. :)

Wife is getting me it for my PS3 or PC next week, I like the whole PC thing they have done this time and I am more interested in PC version. Thing is though, I have the first one on PS3 so thinking that will be best way forward possibly.

I need to see if there are any benefits from Borderlands 2 seeing a save from the first game, if there is sweet. If not then I guess it will be the PC version for me as I have more friends on Steam than I do on PSN.

Can't wait to get my hands on it. played the first game the entire week my wife took the kids on holiday. I have Dr Zed and General Knoxx DLC for it, went through Zombie Island but yet to finish General Knoxx.

Only reason for not finishing Knoxx DLC is the fact that there is only one save point at the center of the map and if you die at the far reaches then its way back to start point with most enemies respawned, will pick it back up to complete it though before getting Borderlands 2 as apparently it ends the story of the first game off nicely.

Friday it is. I sure hope the courier will be swift and on premiere day. If not, then I'll have to wait until monday. That'll suck.

Guess it's Friday for me too. Listed as 20th but that's US timing, so probably get it 21st here.

I wonder if the next gen consoles, providing they still provide the games on physical media, use BDXL? That could mean max 128 GB games. Or maybe there's something even bigger and better around the corner.

umm 2 days 5 hours left on mine thats Thursday by my count... comes out on the 20th at about 6pm although it appears steam can't make up it's mind it keeps changing release date on me ;)
