Man, this racing game is fun! I like it a lot more than Mario Kart, because while this one seems to rely more on luck, something about it is much more fun to play. I can't really describe it; it's something that must be played to be believed.
If you own it on 360, my Gamertag is TheCheese33.

This is exactly why I am not touching it.
If I wanted a kart racer I would buy a kart racer (I did recently, I bought Sony & Sega All Star Racing). If I want to play with real (simulated) cars then I will do that too, even when the sim level is light. But to have a kart racer in a proper cars skin, is a big turn off for me,
I had great anticipation due to the PGR series being among my favourite, but BC managed to frak it up.
Funny thing, even Penny Arcade apologized for having suggested Blur as a good game. I agree with them.

Blur is a fun game, but is a no-go for me, as it recognizes only the xbox controller on PC and I don't plan to buy an xBox controller just for that game...

Wow, didn't know there were still PC games that only recognize xbox controllers... what a shame!

I think they just had a bad experience with the multiplayer. Every problem they listed about it being buggy and crippled was never experienced by me, and that's why I think they got frustrated and berated it. I really enjoy myself when I'm playing it. Another thing that separates me from them is that they mentioned it had the same level of disinterest that Modern Warfare 2 had. I still enjoy that game a lot, and so do many other people.

Different people, different tastes.
The fact that you enjoy MW2 and Blur tells me we just do not agree on what a good game is.
My comments are always unless I mention something else, about the single player portion of games. I don't care about any online component.

Oh, I love a good single-player game, too! Mass Effect 2, Alan Wake and Dragon Age: Origins are some of my favorite games. I just have crazy tastes. Hell, give me a well-made game and chances are I'll enjoy it. Mario, GTA, Doom, Tetris... I'll play almost anything and everything.

You may not want to fuss with it, but there is a program that you can use to emulate an 360 pad with a standard PC pad.

I am compelled to buy this. Along with a new Elite (screw you MS and your shitty warranty).

Yes, I know, but i already mod my games so often, that to have a game playable out-of-the-box once in a while is a nice thing... The developers of Blur, a simple race game, were too lazy to support different kinds of pads, I'll be too lazy to buy their game... ;)
