2nd season of "GoG Weekly" Blood Bowl league is nearing the playoffs and thus its end. The actual start of season 3 has yet to be decided, but is -likely- to be in roughly 5 or 6 weeks.

What is required to join the league?

1) You own either Blood Bowl: Legendary edition or Blood Bowl Chaos edition.

2) Commitment to do your best to play one(1) league match every week, exact time to be negotiated with your opponent. We have fixed match day changes, so the league will keep on running with steady pace even if someone cant play the weekly match for one reason or another.

3) Good manners - even when your team gets fouled and/or massacred. Its part of the game, but i am proud to say we have had damn good spirit in the league.

4) We are very glad to have newbies in league - but starting season 3 we will check that any new player joining the league has played few (say 3-5) public matches in the multiplayer. The reason being that new player will have far smoother start than if he plays his first ever BloodBowl match in the league - also this will help the new player to better select a team that suits his taste. If you do not like public matchmaking, it is also possible to request a current league player to play against you in our GoG Open Access league at any time.

5) Team theme song! Pick a song that you think fits your team, playstyle or whatever and send the link to us.

There will probably be limit to how many teams will get into the league, depending on how many players will apply. The exact number will be decided later closer to starting season 3 when we have some idea of the size and can decided on divisions and their size.

After the league size has been determined, we will still add people to reserve list - so there is chance to join the league mid season if a current player cannot continue the league for whatever reason.

Currently in season 2 we have 28 teams divided into two 14 team divisions, thus 13 "matchdays" (RL weeks), followed by playoffs between 8 teams (4top of each division).

So sign up! If you are uncertain, we can add you straight on to reserve list.

Q:When i must create the team and actually join the league in-game?
A: We only accept fres newly created teams (Teamvalue 1000) and teams from previous seasons of GoG Weekly. The actual in-game sign-up will happen after season 2 has ended. More info will be written here at the time.

Because of the way Cyanide has coded the game, we cannot have just "any" number of coaches. The number must be evenly dividable by 4. So we are aiming for 20 / 24 / 28 / 32 etc coaches.

When we reach one of these numbers, new player will be added to reserves list. When reserve list has four players who clearly state they want into league - we will add them in the league in bunches of four. So be clear and be fast if you wish to play in season 3.

As season 3 format, we are aiming for the same as season 2: Two groups (randomized), with old already developed teams evenly, but randomly distributed to both. After everyone in the particular group has played one match, the four best from each group will progress to playoffs.

Spiraling expenses will be in for the first time, first step at TV1800.

Count me in. I will play a new team, but not sure which one. I am really tempted to pick-up Hawk´s banner with flings or gobbos.

Unsure about teams, but it'll be either returning Humans, or new Dark Elf/Skaven.

That decision has not been rendered yet.

I don't know yet which team I'll play. I'll wait and see what other teams turn up and then decide. I'm strongly considering Skaven though. And Undead. And Goblins. And... OK, I'm completely undecided.

Oh, I don't know. I don't rule them out completely, it's just that I feel that I want to try something new. But I'm so undecided. Really. *shame*

I'm still here, not completely sure about the team yet, I'll probably pick khemri if no one else gets them, but maybe i'm going to stick around with the ogres some more.

I'll play next seson, not sure if with a new team or with skavens, depends on the causalties in the last matches.
