I already tried Yang, theres like 8 people online, and all of them are on duke nukem. (curses!)
Is there any other server or website I can use to play Blood online? (For the release tommorow.)

You can use dosbox directly. You setup a server from your own computer, and all those that are going to play join your server. All yang does is that precisely.
I think once Blood releases here you might have better luck finding people on YANG. If that fails, you can always try GamesRanger, Hamachi, Tunngle and the GOG unofficial IRC channel and set up a few multiplayer games with some members...

Yeah, certainly. You start dosbox. Then, enable IPX networking by typing the command ipx=true. Then you mount the folder blood is installed on your hard drive with the mount c: c:\folder command. Then you start the server with the command ipxnet startserver. After that, all the other clients that are going to join your server join with the command ipxnet connect <your address>. : )

I've been playing blood online with yang for a while now, since Yang was released. It's awesome, and there are a few regular people making regular servers. They might register and join this GoG community now. :D

Woah.. thats pretty complicated. Is that for making your own server or just to join a game online?
BTW. There is no one online playing Yang right now. Is that the same for you?

The first part (ipx=true) is for making your own server, the second command is one for joining a game online.

ipx=true is what everyone has to type to enable online support. You could add it to the dosbox.conf file too so that you dont have to type it everytime. All the commands you can type them in dosbox.conf too and have dosbox type them all when starting it. But most people just let Yang do everything for them. :D
Yeah, I don't see any servers right now. But it's maybe because of the time of the day. There are regulars hosting blood servers, I would say more than duke servers.

So basically Yang writes down all the stuff for you.. pretty cool.

Me? If it's a GOG game then it runs it for me. If it's a game that hasn't gotten the GOG treatment, I just run DOSBOX to mount c c:\whateverfolderthegameisin and then "install" the game.
Never ran it before. lol.

You can create an .BAT file to do everything for you as well, custom make it to launch dosBOX with your settings.
Simply open notepad and treat it like the command prompt with a newline for each new command. then save it as *.BAT

Or you can just use one of the numerous frontends that do all that stuff for you automatically.
There are quite a few of us that host Blood games using YANG.
Sometimes more people show up closer to the weekend. The only issue is scheduling a multiplayer game since the community is scattered, so you kind of just join a server on YANG when you see it instead of gathering in an IRC channel (for example) to prepare your games ahead of time.
