I've not paid nearly enough attention to this service, but it definitely shows a ton of promise! My biggest question of all, is if any of the old BUILD games (aside from Redneck Rampage, which I see is already available/on its way) are going to be added?
Particularly Blood, which IMO is the best shooter of the 90's (Until Half-Life came out, anyway) if only for the atmosphere and character. I know that Atari has been a huge pain in the ass about releasing the source so the engine can be updated for modern use, but GOG seems like it might actually have the chance of weaseling it out of them--
So I ask, what are the chances of seeing Blood appear in the GOG catalog?
Yes, Blood was amazing FPS shooter, unfortunately I lost my original CD years ago!! I hope I will find this game one day on GOG. It's really big problem to get nonriped (with audiotracks) version of this game.
I loved Blood.
I always wanted to play this game, but was never able to get it. It was one of the main games I was hoping would show up here.
Dawww, I never knew you guys felt that way about me.
In all seriousness though, I've never played blood. Is it pretty fun?

absolutely! especially if you like sick humor : )
Hell yeah -- I could go for GOG picking up Blood 1 and Blood 2.
I played only Blood 1's shareware. It was cool, but I never got around to buying the full version...
YES! I have this on cd and can't get it to work on Vista (dosbox won't work either :/). I would give a kidney for this. Can we add Shadow Warrior or Duke 3d to the list :). All are exceptional games and would make the lineup for GoG.com all that much stronger.
Yes, Blood would be nice :-) FPS that was able to take place of Duke Nukem 3D... Mostly because of great humor :-) ("Aaaaargh ... ... Oh, it's me" after looking into a mirror...)
Blood is probably my favorite FPS of all time. It's definitely my favorite of its time, just barely edging out Duke Nukem 3D. I still have the discs for Blood and Blood II, but neither seem to work on XP. I was able to get the original Blood working with DOSBox though. Caleb is one of the best (anti) heroes of all time, for sure!
I still love the part where you're floating on the water and Caleb whips out the famous Jaws quote "You're gonna need a bigger boat."
I've gotten some of the old Build engine games to run on XP, thanks to guides like this: http://buildxp.deathmask.net/
There are also source ports that add 3D acceleration, if you look around a bit.
There's also Transfusion, but as far as I know, it's only the multiplayer component thus far. http://www.transfusion-game.com/
Yep, another vote here for Blood.
Was an awesome, awesome game. If it showed up on gog I would buy it in a second :)
Well, through a complicated string of purchases and accquisitions, Atari owns the license and rights now for the Blood series.
And Atari did publish The Witcher, which is made by CD Projekt who also runs GOG... basacially, what I am trying to say, is Atari and CD Projekt so far have a good relationship, so hopefully there is a good chance we can get Blood and Blood 2 up here ;)

I'd LOVE to see Blood on here, along with Duke Nukem and the samurai version of the games...I forget the series of the samurai ones...
