I really would like to get Blood and Blood II again. I had lots of fun with both games in the past, sadly they don't work in XP or Vista.
If Blood (1) appears in the catalog I will definitely buy it. :-)
Talking about FPP shooters I would buy also:
Heretic, Hexen (those two have their source code available for free so there should be no problem converting them to XP/Vista) and Blake Stone (anyone remembers this game?...).

UruramTururam: Blake Stone (anyone remembers this game?...).

I use to play the shareware version <(^.^<)
All the shooter games tha used the Duke Nukem 3d Engine were great! Blood, Redneck Rampage, Shadow Warrior to name some. I can't wait for Redneck Rampage next week and soon for all the others.
I would LOVE to see Blood 3D on Gog.com, ah the memories!
Oh I love Blood so much, the screaming of the cultists when they go on fire is still one of the most haunting sounds I've ever heard in a computer game. However (not sure if I'm allowed to post this here), it is available to legally download for free as Abandonware at the moment:

It is, however I never got it to work properly under DosBox, don't know why... So now I have to pray GOG will release it fully functional

I doubt it's legal. Usually, when it's legal to download and play a game for free, it says so on its wikipedia page, or it comes up within the first few results if you do a quick google search. I just checked both and it doesn't seem that Blood is freeware.
Abandonware doesn't necessarily equals legal, actually most abandonware games are illegal to play :)

this website would keep me from pirating games.
from this thread alone, I want to check out blood..
I would certainly steep as low as to play it illegally, but I'm certain if it was on here, with all the other fabulous extras and the support of these wonderful forums.. I'd buy it. I'd tell my friends to buy it. I'd make fun of them if they didn't, and if they stole it, I'd beat them up.
I'm certainly not condoning piracy, however I do feel if a game which was released years ago, isn't supported by the publisher or the developer and isn't available to purchase anywhere then I don't have a problem with classing it as Abandonware. For example that Abandonia site recently pulled all of the X-Com games as they recently became available for purchase on Steam. Hopefully as GOG grows then this sort of grey area will disappear!

Thanks for posting this topic - I was about to start one myself. I played the demo but for some unknown reason I never bought the full game; the demo was awesome. I hope GOG gets it.
