tinyE: Holy shit, I seemed to have pulled it off.

I went into the basement and dug up the pc we had when we first opened to keep reservations on there; it's windowsXP. :P So I got it hooked up and found GTA2 on there, put there for the times when I was stuck in the office when there was nothing to do but wait for people to check in. I snag a blank cd, zip the GTA2 folder, transfer, and now I have it on my PC.

Man....this game sucks.
LOL! I dunno, there's a certain satisfaction from running over the entire line of 10+ boy scouts marching in one shot and getting the GARGANTUAN bonus or whatever it's called. I could do that all day. :)

I do have to admit that it's a MASSIVE jump in technology from GTA2 to GTA3 though. Light years.
There's no map. Was their ever? No wonder I was never able to complete a mission; following those stupid arrows just ends up getting you stuck in an alley.
I think I have the paper map for it in a desk drawer, lemme have a look around...

I found it, it's folded up and seems to have had a drink spilled on it a bit. Stuck all together and I can't fold it out to see which version of the game it's from but it looks like one of the first two games. I imagine someone has a huge high-res version online somewhere though that could be loaded in a web browser full screen and tossed on a spare monitor/computer if you have one.

Here we go... take your pick... :)

Thanks, I was looking for an in game map but it's not a big deal. Right now I'm currently playing Gta 3, VC, and SA at the same time. That's not counting EE2 which I picked up here a few days ago and Blackthorn which I got yesterday. Yes, this is the life of an innkeeper off season. :D

I just installed San Andreas this week to try to get through the whole game this time around. Only made it a few missions in and fell asleep playing. :) Great game, going to get through it all this time. I've got Vice City on CD also and never finished that one so I might go through it again sometime too. Only have those and the first two games though. I'd like to pick up the rest of them one of these days, and GTA5 looks amazing.

tburger: I get a nice GM in-game music in Blackthorne

Why Blizzard give away sth they could sell here ? Not that I'm complaining but still .....
avatar
tinyE: That's actually a good point. I for one would pay for a game like Blackthorn. For a game like Lost Vikings I'd pay A LOT. I hope we don't screw this up. :P
I doubt most gamers would pay for Blackthorne because "OMG, the graphics are sooo old, this game sucks, derp, derp huehuehuehue!" so it's not like Blizzard is giving Diablo 3 away...

Wicked. Just a shame there is no gamepad support. Anyone know of a way to make it work?

You mean like all the Sega Megadrive compilations and its derivatives? They seem to be doing OK...

Yeah, because there are people like us who aren't superficial when it comes to games.

And you see no contradiction between this and your previous post?

Or are you implying that we do not buy games?

I doubt people like us fall into the category of "most gamers". If we do, then good but I doubt it.

Still, enough to make things like Sega compilations sell well....

You may find that a lot more people share your hobby in playing good games, than what you do between them.

"female panties?"

Does this mean there are "male panties" I don't know about? Where can I get some of those? I want to wear them and then sell them to fund my game collecting addiction.
