Hi there,
I have this game already but if it appeared on GOG.com I would buy it just for the comic book the game used to come with. I bought the game as a budget edition here in australia but unfortunately it didnt come with the aforementioned comic book. Does anyone feel the same way? Do you remember those old Apogee games?
I remember that game.....from around the Wolfenstein era. Wow, that takes me back a few million years...

Yeah, those games are definitely a blast of the past! I remember Blake Stone was my first FPS game I ever played, so I held it in higher regard than Wolf3D, but now I love them equally!

I was exposed to Wolf3d first myself so it's reversed for me hehe. Would love to play the original Wolf 3d warts and all because I have so many memories connected with it....

This. I would love a collection of the old Apogee classics on here. I believe 3DRealms have the licensing rights now? As I remember you can still buy them from their own site though, still, would like them on GoG.

3D realms might need the funds to fund Duke Nukem In Production Forever....

3D Realms used to be called Apogee. According to Joe Siegler, who works there, Apogee is still their name "on paper". In the games though, its 3D Realms.
I bought a whole bunch of their games through the 3D Realms website when I got a credit card, but I too would like to see them on GOG.com (the ones they still have rights for anyway, because I know Joe has said in the past that some of the people associated with rights to the old games cant always be located due to getting out of the games industry, among other things)
Yes, well, turns out that in many of what I thought to be old Apogee titles, they only acted as publishers. For example for Wolf3D, Death Rally, Hocus Pocus, Blake Stone, Raptor: Call of the Shadows.
I wasn't even born yet!
I played the shareware version of this. Played it to death.
Blake Stone has the simplest and most badass theme song ever.
Listen
Blake Stone! That game was great, should definitely find its way on here. I never could get it to run smooth on Dosbox though.
Here's the config I use to run Blake Stone at full speed. You will need to edit it to specify your own directories.
Note that DOSBox demands a powerful CPU more than anything else. This config is with a Core 2 Duo; if your CPU is outdated this config may not help you to achieve full speed.
God, Bobby Prince was such an awful, awful composer

BLASPHEMY.
Sure, his compositions are incredibly simple and by no means elaborate, but it suits the games perfectly fine.
