I hope Blade of Darkness aka Severance is being worked on by GOG. It was published originally by codemasters.

By coincedence I picked this up recently. I will say it's BLOODY HARD!! - definitely a challenging game!

I love this game. Played through it several times. It is very hard at first, but as soon as you figure out how to do the special moves it gets easier.

Yep its hard ...
I believe I completed it with the amazon; got part way through with the barbarian; and could not get through the initial knight level. I thought there was a 4th character but I don't remember.

The fourth one was a dwarf, I think.
And I agree, the game can be pretty hard. Or at least, it's rather unforgiving if you make a wrong move.

The fourth character is a dwarf. He's pretty boring to play though; it seems like the developers were running out of time and weren't able to flesh him out enough.

Severance was a great game, so gloriously bloody and extremely hard. I never finished it. On a side note, it was the last PC game I bought that came in an old large-sized box.
