Incoming bump, take cover!!!!

*Bump*
* Hears the mighty roar of Crewdroog, puts on helmet and jumps into the trench for safety. *

* Peeps out and sees her riding a mighty T-Rex. (tummy rumbles) *

I've been stuck in this trench for a long time with only basic rations, and that T-Rex sure looks tasty :-).

* Charges out of the trench screaming my war cry and brandishing my trust frying pan *

* T-Rex starts running away in fear *

Get back here, me wants steak for dinner!

First and most important thing - HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
I can't believe I missed this thread until right now. I got here just in time. Thanks for the giveaway, and thanks for being one of the most pleasant and fun people I've seen on these forums.

I have a tale to tell.
There once was a young man who used the GOG forums every night. He loved to check up on his favorite threads, and occasionally make posts. One night, as he was reading, the words started to blend together. The letters became blurry. He suddenly found himself dropping his head on his keyboard and slipping out of consciousness. He tried to stay awake, unaware of the danger he was in. The air got cold, but it was hot at the same time. He started feeling sick to his stomach. He tried to go to the bathroom, but wasn't able to walk. He finally decided to get some help from his brother.

An hour later, he was strapped to a table, but didn't remember how he got there. He kept fainting and waking up as various people poked and prodded him. They were asking him questions, but he didn't understand any of them. He was scared, and didn't know what was happening. Suddenly they shoved a tube up his nose and through his mouth, and forced him to swallow it. They extracted a mysterious black goo from his stomach for what seemed like an eternity before finally putting him to sleep.

When he woke up, he was being pinned down and... having his teeth brushed by strangers? He started freaking out, so they put him back to sleep. When he woke up a second time, he noticed there were more tubes going into him. Things became more clear. He wasn't being interrogated, he was being helped. They were not spies, they were doctors and nurses. He wasn't afraid anymore. His brother was there with him.

He remained in a bed for the rest of the day, feeling surprisingly good. He felt like from now on, everything would be okay. Nurses were checking on him every hour. For the first time in weeks, he slept well. The next morning, they gave him a magical pill. It hurt to swallow it, but after 20 minutes... There were thousands of cats rubbing against him, and his bed transformed into a million little marshmallow-men massaging his back. Then he got to take a shower in hot chocolate, and dry off by rubbing against a friendly polar bear.

Later, he was moved to a new room, where he was taken care of by the nicest and most beautiful people he had ever seen. He thought there were angels in his room. Then they gave him a cup of the sweetest drink he had ever tasted. So sweet that he would remember it forever. He was given all the things he could ever want - two pillows, a hot blanket, and an HD TV with cable. It was the happiest he had felt in years. He suddenly realized that this place was not a hospital - it was heaven, and the angels were real. The place that he was so afraid of at first, was literally heaven.

It couldn't last, though. He realized that he couldn't stay. The angels needed to help other people. One of the angels helped him to go outside, so he could go back to his lame-ass house. As he got into a car to be taken away, the angel gave him one last smile, which he would never forget.

He returned to his normal life, wondering if it were a dream or not. He realized that it didn't matter if it was a dream. Sometimes dreams are the best moments in life. He always remembered the three days that he lived in heaven. And those memories helped him get through any difficult time he had in his life from then on.

The End.

Whew... Talk about long winded! Anyway... I'm in for Kingdoms of Amalur. I recently played the demo, and am interested in more.

Ahhh! It always scares me at first when people call me AdamR. I wonder how people know my name. Then I remember...
I have always regretted making my username my actual name :P

You didn't read my GA post, only the rules :( . You must tell me a tall tale. The winner is whoever tells the best tale. Random drawing is NOT in this GA.
