Hello my fellow Goglodytes! Today as you may not know is the most important day of the year, my birthday! And nothing says "birthday" moar than giving out some presents. But, as the birthday girl, I demand entertainment. So here we go. *sits on throne, adjusts obnoxious tiara*

The main game for my GA is one of my favorites: Kingdoms of Amalur(steam gift). It is very fun, and the combat is a blast, HOWEVER this game is a little long winded. And by little, I mean a lot. That being said, to win this game you must tell me a tall tale (real or totally made up) about yourself. It can be funny, sad, serious, whatever you want. But i want to be dazzled. When I'm done reading your story I want to feel like I've been thrown in a bag of glitter or attacked with that horrible bedazzle gun. I demand entertainment! :)

Ok, ok, ok, I know, EA evil bastard of evil. For those of you still wanting to entertain me but hate EA, I give you the alternate prize: you can choose between Syberia I & II (steam key) or Still Life I & II (steam key). And for my "I only love GOG, *rage*" friends: for this prize you can do whatever you want with it. Trade in the forums here for a gog game, I don't care. YOU CANNOT DO THIS WITH AMALUR THOUGH. why? cause I said so. Sorry I can't offer any gog games outright, it's just not possible right now.

First prize gets the game of their choice. After that I will go through and pick the second best story out of the people that wanted the leftover prize.

Now for the stupid rulz:
1. must have joined on or before September '14 OR have +25 (I can make exceptions if asked)
2. MUST HAVE a community presence other than just asking/getting games. I will check this and ask around.
3. No entering for others.
4. Amalur must be redeemed by the winner. Syberia or Still Life, you can do whatever you want

P.S.*Tall tale* hey, I forgot! I don't think I have mentioned that one time I was in a plane and the pilot lost control of the plane and ended up landing on the moon. When we got off the plane to see what we would do we found out that it was made out of cheese(and also had rivers made of milk-yummy!). Fortunately, that moon cheese, when melted, turned into plane gas and we returned safely to earth. Such a pity I forgot to take pictures... *End of tall tale*
This tall tale was partially inspired by Lucian's "True History".

Ok, a story... There once was a kid who liked to look at the stars. Every night he would go up to the roof and lay down, staring to the universe. One night... he saw a strange light. It wasn't like a UFO or any kind of spaceship he saw before. It was a new star made of red light. He knew then, only one thing could have made that. It was the nebular implosion of his favorite holiday planet... Earth. The End.

I agree with it being a bit long-winded, but Amalur is a great game! A pity what happened with it. I do believe the IP is now owned by the State of Rhode Island, which makes me feel happy in a weird way, even though it doesn't mean anything :D.
I don't own it, but I would like to, so I am in for it.
Oral storytelling is a skill I'd like to pick up, but I don't think I'm very good at it right now. A tall tale...him....

Me and my friends are part of this group that patrols around foiling robberies, and I'd say we're pretty successful. The key being we don't just accept anyone. You have to own a weapon and know how to use it.

So this one night, full moon, I was cruising around chilling, but also trying to find this other friend of mine. I passed by this car full of girls, and they were so obsessed with how studly I am, they crashed their car! I'd have gotten out and helped them, but just then saw and heard the friend I had been looking for down the street, and he seemed to be in real trouble.

What had happened was that he was cruising around like me, looking for some willing ladies to hang out with, and came across this group who were playing some boardgame on the sidewalk. For some bizarre reason he thought this was really cool and wanted to join in with them. Turns out they were some of the foiled robbers, and they pulled out their weapons and were holding him up! He started yelling, which is what brought him to my attention.

The robbers hadn't seen me, but I had to act quickly. I brought out my musket and handgun and a gatling gun from the car and snuck up on them and let loose. A lot more yelling started, bodies started dropping, and in the confusion my friend grabbed one of their weapons and joined in as well. Unfortunately, the gatling gun overheated and exploded. Still, the day was saved! Hilariously enough, even after all that danger and excitement, my friend voiced his desire for female companionship. I told him I'd just left a car accident full of ladies at the curb so we went back to them asked if they wanted to hang out. They were quite happy to, so we all took off in my car into the moonlight, arguing about the evolution of hip hop. Was quite a night!
